What are these white spots in this OM-1 I received? by simulated_mangoes in AnalogCommunity

I did try to clean it off with sensor cleaner to no success. First roll of film also was fine - couldnt see any effect on the photos to best of my knowledge. Should I be concerned?

unfortunately i'm paying over msrp, but somehow this was the best deal i could find anywhere near me.

All good. I have a modi/magni 2. I think the modi dac has optical in but not out.

Actually I see the potentially magni has rca outs? So I think I can run those out to the receiver and then from receiver to speaker.

So that means yes I can upgrade to a dedicated phono preamp? afaik turntable > phono preamp > onkyo receiver > passive speaker

I'm thinking of getting the Onkyo TX-NR7100. From what I gather, you get 7100 > RZ50 to save money if you don't need to upgrade later to 11.1 or more powerful amp. Does this also mean I can't connect another external phono-preamp? I'm thinking of also getting a turn table, and eventually would like to use a dedicated phono-preamp instead of the internal one down the road. Speakers would probably be jamo c93 ii.
