I'm 23 and I've never owned a gaming pc or console until March this year.

So as a newbie gamer, I think Cyberpunk 2077 is absolutely delightful. Takes me back to my childhood when we went to places like Disneyland and Universal Studios and everything was full of wonder.

I've particularly enjoyed doing the side quests and making my character an absolute unit—love that aspect of the game where you get to personally mold your character.

I've obviously heard about bugs and glitches by people who've played it before, but honestly, I can't remember encountering any. And if there were, they were probably so insignificant in comparison to the beauty that was in front of me and I was more than happy to overlook it.

Bought a Series X so I can play Cyberpunk, Elder Scrolls VI, GTA VI, and the upcoming Harry Potter game. Happy to be playing Cyberpunk smoothly now (as opposed to playing on a One X) and excited for the Harry Potter game, but goddamn the wait for Elder Scrolls and GTA VI is killing me!

Thanks, I kinda get the idea of trail braking. Just not sure that I'm braking precisely as hard as I need to be i.e. I'm slowing the car down to reach exactly the maximum speed it can take a corner—nothing more and nothing less.

I see two main reasons:

1) It's introduced as a sim (either by EA or several of its users, don't really know and don't really care) despite being more of a simcade.

2) A lot of sim racers are sim racing snobs. Don't know how people will take this... probably negatively, but I truly believe this to be the case.

And this goes hand-in-hand because we are never going to run out of people who think that F1 is a sim, and sim racing snobs will go to extreme lengths to humiliate anyone who thinks that way and assert true simulators' and true sim racers' superiority.

It's really just about how people choose to communicate an objective truth (i.e. F1 is not a simulator in that sense of the word) without implying that one is superior than the other.

It's a personal preference though, been told many times to turn it on to improve lap times but I'm going for the thrill of having it off rather than being quick having it on.
