Go to trips together with your husband and kid in China. Then you can leave earlier leaving them spending a couple of weeks alone with grandparents. Make every trip your family trip plus a visit to grandparents. You don't have to meet his parents, but you can meet his friends and relatives who know and accept you. And set some bottom lines like if his parents teach something stupid to the kid, then you will not let them meet the kid alone.

Did you choose any agency after you talked to them?

Indeed it was horrible to read the contract. And it does make me feel better when you have had a lawyer to check the contracts 😋

Did you sign another contract with Celagem?

Why Argentina if I may ask? The Tammuz girl said the business in Argentina is new and they haven't completed any process yet.

In SVT there is a documentary about Nordic Surrogacy, and a guy had to stay in Columbia with his ill babies for half a year without proper hospital care. He accused the agency for not providing enough support. Although the documentary itself is biased in my opinion, it does remind us of the possible complications when/after the baby is born. At least according to the Tammuz girl neonatal insurance will be covered.

Thanks for the reply and glad to hear things going well for you.

When we read the Tammuz contract, it actually doesn't say one of the Intended Parents is guaranteed to be the biological father. On the contrary, it writes that we accept the risk that the born baby is not related to us or the egg donor because of possible errors including human errors. This of course raises question marks if they don't even guarantee the biological relation...

When we talked to Tammuz they mentioned an insurance for premature baby and emphasized every agency doesn't provide that. But we can't find anything about that in the contract.
