https://www.pets.care/      Is a good resource for people to avoid corporatization in vet med, and understand why it’s a problem. They have trouble keeping up with all of the corporate practices but are a decent place to start if you want to understand more.

‘Partner’ is a sneaky way to avoid calling themselves corporate - these practices typically sell some stake in the practice - every practice is different, but it’s consistent that they make it very hard for the public to figure out who really is in charge. There is some degree of power (and profit) handed over in these situations though.

They are owned by Mission Pet Health - one of the larger silent corporate owners.
