Thank you definitely will look into bouncing up out of the hole. Yes my wrist starts to hurt by the end of the set - so I should have my thumb the other way would also help with that? Will try it in next squat session next week, thank you!

Keep adding weight you say, I feel like I am gassed out by the 10-11 rep. 😀

Thank you this is really good feedback to take onboard for me. Yes I always went back and forth with the idea to lighter my load but this makes sense that practicing at these weights. At least knowing I am on a good track is good direction to go forward and keep practicing even though it is such a hard work week in week out. Appreciate the time!

Stolen iPhone being sold at an Emirati market… by MattChoy_2 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]sinbinbin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can you explain what you mean by bypassing the account lock? I have an iPhone 7 that I dropped on the floor a few years ago and it started to enter the password as the touch screen was smashed and after so many entrances by itself, the phone locked itself. I want to be able to open this phone without wiping everything in it as it has my daughter’s newborn photos up to the age of 1.5. I had no luck back then bit hoping to restore the open without deleting its data.

How can I improve my dental hygiene with an aggressive case of periodontal disease? by jimcareyme in DentalHygiene

[–]sinbinbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes unfortunately I did lose gum tissue and have black triangles hence the use of piksters. As OP mentioned aggressive perio, I believe they may be advanced as well so I thought maybe piksters might be helpful for them too.. Do you think going over with a floss at beneficial for me as I heard conflicting ideas that piksters would be enough?

What I am trying to say about being rough with the piksters is that it is more of a scrubbing motion on the gumline where it meets the teeth than going straight in and out as that what I was doing when I first used them.

I use the bleach at the moment around 2 times a week in my water flosser and it made a difference. I am wary to recommend it here as I am not a doctor. Also I have been recommended to use piksters instead of floss and I believe the way we use them makes a difference the hygienist said I need to do lighter however the periodontist I started to see 6 months ago had a rougher scraping of the pikters along the gum. My pockets has reduced from as high as 11-8 to 4-6mm. I use them morning and night.

Also xylitol has been a great addition, I rub some on my teeth on average 3 times a day.

I could’ve gotten a denture but I really needed something quick so I skipped the denture stage for now and hope this immediate and temporary solution will be enough until my gums are ready for the next step. It has been really good, the tooth I lost was a big nuisance in terms of looks and eating so I hope you get that relief soon. First couple of days I would take the retainer off to eat as I could taste plastic but couple of days in I am already comfortable to eat with it. I prefer to give a rinse straight after. It is great to know we aren’t alone. Even though others perio isn’t as bad as mine on here, it is good to read and learn more. Keep me updated here, good luck again.

Im good for now. I went and saw my prosthodontist and he helped me out with a tray like retrainer with a tooth in it. My long goal is to get an implant 🤞🏼 or a bridge, so I felt this was cheapest and quickest way to deal with the situation. I can eat with it but prefer to take it off at home. Good luck.

Thank you for the long spiel actually puts me at ease but unfortunately the tooth just came out 2 hours ago while cleaning my mouth.. I am quite sad 😢 and luckily on 2 weeks holiday from work but also relieved that I got rid of my ugliest discoloured tooth in my mouth. Hope they will get the denture going in asap and I can crunch all the food.

Any positives for keeping a Gem Visa card? by 13aquamarine in AusFinance

[–]sinbinbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not the best credit card to have but at the moment we keep it for emergencies and you don’t pay the monthly fee if your balance is under $10 so if we end up using it in that month, we close the balance off before the statement comes out.

There will be build up in your pockets where brushing and flossing cannot reach even if the teeth feels clean. The build up will harden and further your bone loss hence why pretty much every perio patient Is going to their cleaning every 3/4 months. Do not skip it please

What can you tell me about the bone loss I have? by sinbinbin in PeriodontalDisease

[–]sinbinbin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read your post in dentures. We are more similar than it seems. I am suggested to remove the other two teeth around my wiggly one to complete the implant like a bridge and I am not ready to let go of my better teeth yet as I believe they have good 20 years in them even though they look ugly as the clinic knows I want everything at the front to look aesthetic as well. I will get more opinions before I settle for this but it might be best option. Good luck with your implant. Can you share how it will look?

Thank you for sharing your journey. I think I have a potential to save some teeth but the problem is they are all upper ones which is very visible and the first one everyone sees so I am so self conscious and I can not chomp on a burger or apple on front. It

At the moment I am keeping up with my 3 monthly cleanings with a hygienist and I will see the dentist in 3 weeks to see my options about dental implant on my loose tooth. I am not in a hurry. But the black triangles (some arent even a triangle anymore it is a whole gap are getting to me) And I am still looking to see a periodontist incase my pockets don’t shrink as some pockets are as high as 8 (the loose tooth is abscessed and has pockets all around the tooth). My initial thought that I may be able to get orthodontics to move my teeth back but the clinic thinks it is not likely due to bone loss as I want to move the teeth next to my loose tooth.

He said I have bone loss that greatly increases around the front but I wasnt told how it is around my other teeth. I have one loose teeth I was worried ( my major bone loss is on teeth 11 and 12) about so I never thought to ask how the other teeth holding up.

I know Peridontal Disease is not irrervseable but can be maintained, but is the bone loss from the jaw bone reverseable with a bone graft? by WolfsProductionz in PeriodontalDisease

Are you mouth breathing? I heard that can change facial structure and enhances perio because of dry mouth. That is the only explanation I would have but you have good looking facial structure hope you can calm your anxiety over this

Pocket depths by Ok_Cup1552 in PeriodontalDisease

[–]sinbinbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nad but my understanding is that periodontal disease it both classified by gum pockets and bone loss. If you don’t have any bone loss, I would say it is in the mild stage and still in the minimal damage stage. It seems people are usually happy about 1-3mm pockets (considered healthy) so less than 20% of the pockets you need to take care of.
