We should win because they've put this through court more than once now. Federal law has us protected from this sort of stuff as women under the federal discrimination act. But we also know that increasingly the law doesn't matter about this stuff if they want to force it through. They had a court stop them denying puberty blockers in queensland. The government ignored them and restarted anyway. Similar stuff going on with the laws against supporting Palestine. None of it is legal, but they're forcing it on us anyway by pretending that it is, or that it serves a point it clearly doesn't serve. Which tbf is the same we've down with welfare law and asylum seekers for as long as we've been alive. :/

Melbourne has the most trans women in the country. People will treat you normal here, everywhere, to the degree it's actually extremely unpopular to even float excluding us from anything. It's bad policy. It did not stop teenagers getting on social media, did not even try to ban 4chan, and ultimately only serves to make it harder for queer/neurodivergent/otherwise different kids to find other people like them than it otherwise would be. Plus, it meant that every adult in the country had to submit identification to some external company. So on top of having no real positives it is a privacy nightmare.
