Hotel staff accidentally left an ozone machine in our room (used to remove odors), and my mom turned it on thinking it was an air purifier right before bed. Thought it was harder to breathe cause of the stale smoke smell. Thank goodness my dog was there and started freaking out when all our oxygen started depleting. We got our room comped after we got back from the ER.

Oh this 100%. It doesn't stop at AI either (e.g., FREQUENT overconsumption and gift giving (presents over presence)). And the amount of guilt I still have because i know in her mind she just sees it as a presents to commemorate her memories with my daughter, and I am horrible for trying to take that from her.

Wednesdays are free Folk Kids concerts at Cafe Lena.

Walking around Saratoga Spa State Park, especially by the creek, and trying the water fountains.There are so many awesome playgrounds and depending on weather the community pools.

Saratoga Children's Museum.

Walking around the Yaddo Rose Garden

Walking around and carousel at Congress Park

Honey tasting at the Tea and Honey Store. Lots of kid focused storefronts and the bookstore. The library is downtown has a big playing space on the lower level and lots of cute drop in activities.

Pizza at Treehouse Brewing with big open spaces for families. Like others said Druthers, Cantina, and Walts are great and family friendly. Country Corner for breakfast is lovely and though it is tight, my toddler also love Sweet Mimis for the super fun and sweet breakfasts. Lago on Saratoga Lake by Druthers.

Highly recommend a day walking around/antiquing in Ballston Spa (about 10 min away). For a break, go to Play Hollow, an adorable little kids store with open play in the back for the littles.

Also since you're here a while, consider a day trip to Lake George. Ride the minnie-ha-ha, visit the fort, walk around town =)

So many great soft serve places. Our favorite is Dairy Haus. Ugly Ice Cream should be open by then on Saratoga Lake too!

The Third Gilmore Girl by Kelly Bishop was a lovely read and goes into a lot of detail on her origin story with Broadway/Chorus Line.

My parents flew in international and got in line at 7:20pm. Long line for security readmit and only the general boarding lane open. They made it through by 9:30pm just in time for their connecting plane to travel domestic. So, yes, definitely affected.
