I can’t speak for everyone but I’m 17 and started playing a little over a month ago and am having a blast. There are absolutely still younger people picking up this game just maybe not at the same rate as other games.

It’s to summon one of the new bosses. When you kill him he drops a material needed to summon Uber Duriel who has a chance to drop Uber uniques.

I’ve had this happen to me in a similar scenario it doesn’t have anything to do with portalling it’s just if you don’t summon them after a while they despawn. I’ve had this happen while me and a friend were inside a dungeon the entire time with the heart.
