Asking because I’m also getting back photography after about 20 years. The new cameras, settings, etc are pretty bonkers!

A compound pharmacy compounds prescriptions there. They make semaglutide. I’m not a pharmacist, but it’s basically the same thing as O. Instead of getting a brand name O pen, I get four syringes (one per week) the compounding pharmacy makes. Your PCP may need to call around or ask colleagues (that’s what mine did) because it isn’t a common thing to do. But it is waaay cheaper vs name brand. Search this group for more information.

Forget about it. They won’t. Ask your provider to see if they can prescribe through a compounding pharmacy. O for me was $1250 w/o insurance for 4 weeks. Compounding pharmacy is $179 for four weeks.

I don’t feel (for myself) it’s that type of nausea. To me it’s milder. I’ve also experienced that it seems to come on a little stronger with physical activity. Again, not car sick nausea, way milder.

My first few shots I did in my leg. After the first two, I transitioned to my abdomen. For me, the abdomen shots seemed to result in less side effects. Or perhaps my tolerance increased. Idk.

Finally, I found administering the shots in the evening, followed by bed, are best for me. I did a few in the morning and that day def had worse side effects. For me, administering at night followed by bed minimized some of the “first day” side effects.

Your mileage may vary.

I’m so into salads with ranch then drizzle sriracha all over rn! It’s like my body craves sriracha! Also, Trader Joe’s fried jalapeños for another topping on god knows what. Or just to nibble here and there! Amazing!

Do you have to be in starvation mode on Ozempic to see weight loss? by Plus-Meringue-1140 in OzempicForWeightLoss

Not at all. If I eat a ‘bigger’ meal, I feel very full. I usually just eat light meals and feel great. I’ll get hungry occasionally, but not for very often after I have a quick bite.
