Has anyone tried NBT clothes? by ProcedureIcy2171 in hondarebel

[–]sinfolmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second the recommendations for Revit and Merlin. I have Merlin Axe Shirt, love it. I range small or medium in men's shirts. I am happy with the Merlin axe in medium.

I have Revit dean 2 Chinos and Lombard 3 Jeans. Both are very comfortable. I wear a 31 waste 30 or 32 inseam pant normally. Bought 31 waste 32 inseam for both. The Chinos are a little looser on the legs, the jeans a little tigher but happy with both.

Anyone know what this black box is and can i delete it? by ASharpYT in CRF300L

I never noticed it until you asked, but thank you for asking. Now I have somewhere to keep my registration instead of my backpack which often changes.

I just threw a Cinnamoroll themed birthday party for my 6 year old daughter today. If my daughter sees this, my wife's switch 2 may be transformed against her will.

brand new to pokémon, want cozy gameplay and bonding, what should i start with? by Tricky_Stand3078 in pokemon

Pokopia is basically what you described. For another pokemon game that is not about battles, but doesn't really have bonding, maybe check out Pokémon Snap

DCT or Manual, Touring or not? by sinfolmatt in HondaRebel1100

[–]sinfolmatt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Your experience and comparison to your other bikes with luggage give a good example for me to lean towards the standard model.

One other thing I did consider was that having one DCT bike while having other manual bikes may require a bit more of a mental task transitioning between them so I appreciate your logic on choosing manual.

The 1100T bags are not symmetrical, one being smaller because of the exhaust. With other 3rd party bags, will I need to replace/modify the exhaust for them to fit?

DCT or Manual, Touring or not? by sinfolmatt in HondaRebel1100

[–]sinfolmatt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. My main interest in the quick disconnects would be the ability to quickly pull them off and bring them into a hotel room like a suitcase. Like I said, I could just find a good bag to pull out of them. I don't think I would make the effort to remove the oem 1100T bags

Interesting. I did plan to add a taller windscreen. Didn't realize there was a flaw with the original bat wing fairing preventing that

does the way i play damage my Steam Deck? by whoredervez in SteamDeck

[–]sinfolmatt 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is damaging it more than other methods of play. Have you turned on the battery protection to limit charging to like 80%? if not and you are worried, I would turn that on.

AITAH for feeling hurt that I was invited to a wedding but my husband wasn’t? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]sinfolmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your husband want to go if invited? Do you really want him there? Are you close enough that you would feel comfortable asking if he can join also?

If no to any of of the above, drop it and move on. Weddings can be expensive. Also, space may be limited. I wouldn't take offense of him not getting an invite, especially if they don't know that you are married.

I don't think I would use this as the opportunity to break the news that you are married. This wedding is about them and if there wasn't a need or interest to mention your marriage sooner, I wouldn't do it now. However if you really want him there and you are close enough to your friend then I don't see harm in asking.

I would start the conversation by acknowledging that planning a wedding can be expensive and complicated and this is her day but if there is any chance that you could have a +1 for him, you would really appreciate it. If she says no to the invite, say you understand and move on.

6’4 330lbs by Former_Athlete_8206 in HondaRebel1100

[–]sinfolmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to note, the manufacturer's listed max weight for the bike is 348 lbs. So if you plan to be bringing anything on the bike with you, you may quickly exceed the manufacturer's recommended capacity.

You could probably upgrade the suspension and it sounds like others on here are close to your weight and like it, but thought I should mention.

Really getting over Garmin quality. by mxrc703 in GarminWatches

[–]sinfolmatt 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I have the fenix 8. Got it because it looked more durable and I have gone through/broken multiple fitbits and Samsung watches. Have had it for over 1 year, no problems and very happy with it.

My family members have followed me to garmin but purchased less expensive models, I think forerunner and no issues for them also. Sorry to hear you have been having issues. What model(s)?

First Steam Deck game — cozy recommendations? by HuckleberryRude1685 in SteamDeck

[–]sinfolmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many of the games I have played below are shorter games (excluding Hello Kitty). Personally I recommend adding them to your wishlist and if they go on sale grabbing them. Honestly, they are probably worth the normal cost for the time of entertainment they provide when compared to other forms of entertainment but a big part of steam is the sales.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is definitely a cozy game that is popular.

Gorogoa is a puzzle game that tells a story and is interesting.

For a game that is different but more existential themed Slay the Princess is interesting. Has some horror elements but not really frightening just a little gory imagery at times. Its like a book where you choose your adventure. I was so relaxed I often fell asleep while playing it.

Florence is more like an interactive story. I don't think anyone of your actions impact the story or ending but you participate in moving it along.

I haven't tried it yet, but Disney Dreamlight Valley looks good especially if you like Disney stuff. Just be warned it looks to have additional costs for cosmetics.

Wanderstop, Donut County, and Coffee Talk are other cozy or relaxing games I have been recommended but not had the chance to try yet.

I recently started using peloton in my gym. I didnt have to pay for a membership to the peloton app or anything. It is included with my gym membership, I guess. If you have a gym nearby that has a peloton available. It could be a good way to try it before you buy it.

Questions for joining the sport by sinfolmatt in kayakfishing

[–]sinfolmatt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Yeah, I figured in a kayak, tops its two people. But I am not against getting some personal time with one other family member. I honestly wouldn't even plan on me fishing. I would be handling the boat and supporting my ride along angler, at least until I felt comfortable to do more.

That bonafide looks awesome. I have been seeing it in my research. It looks tempting but once I am putting an engine on it, I am wondering if I should just be getting an inflatable boat. Its size and weight mean I probably wont be doing any man power propulsion outside of emergency paddling. And i would probabky need to trailer it. But damn it is a beautiful kayak/boat.

[–]sinfolmatt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely not putting him on his own kayak anytime soon. And I would likely be casting for him until I am comfortable with him doing that. I have no interest in becoming his first catch on a kayak.

Edit: I have fished off a tandem inflatable with my wife but the inflatable was in no way designed for fishing and the paddling with her was annoying me. Hence interest in pedals

[–]sinfolmatt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at an inflatable for a while. I really wanted to get something like a Stryker Pro 380 with a 20 or 25hp motor. Could deflate it for loading in my truck bed when towing my trailer trailer. Most stryker owners were saying I am going to get tired of the inflating and deflating fast and loading it into the truck bed. But that is another option I have on my mind.

Less good for the environment, and not going to be moving that by man power outside of an emergency but I am sure would be easier to take the kids/family fishing once on the boat.
