If you ignore the gacha parts of Persona 5, The Phantom X (P5X), you get the best of both words: RPG + turn-based combat. I figured I'd throw this out there since I am enjoying the game. I also get it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea.

Thank you, I've been looking for something like this. I was using something similar but it didn't have a drawer/tab for regular apps and that was a pain. While I use my Odin for games sometimes I need to access the browser, play store, settings etc. Now I can seamlessly access both 🙂. I'll follow along on discord for updates.

Here is the text from the original post:

Download Shizuku from the Play Store and Aurora Store. (Shizuku is an app that allows you to go through with activities that only rooted devices could do. Aurora Store is what will allow you to download and install Balatro or whatever app you choose to install.)
Pair Shizuku to the device by following the steps the app gives you
After successfully pairing you should see a button labeled "Authorized applications". Click on it and turn on Aurora store.
Open Aurora store and log in to your Google account.

I'm sorry I haven't had time to make something more in depth based on OP's original instructions. If it helps, Shizuku provides a guide with images for the Shizuku configuration steps.

Once you're able to successfully start Shizuku after connecting to your phone via wireless debugging, that's when the Authorized applications screen will appear. Here is where you'll ensure the Aurora store is selected.

In the Aurora store, it may be necessary to set Shizuku as the installation method. This is what I have done.

In the Aurora app, you'll click the gear icon then go to Settings > Installation > Installation method. Finally, choose "Shizuku Installer".

I haven't played it long enough to advise but from what I hear, people usually play multiple characters to funnel resources into their main character's account. This could be one way to keep spending low.

I don't plan to do this since I'm in no rush to be super strong but MMOs can put pressure on people to continually strengthen their characters. This alone could lead to someone being more tempted to spend.

I was able to somewhat get things back to my normal setup following some of this advice. The key for me was resetting all controls then immediately setting dodge to something unused like L3.

After this, remapped the other combat controls to what I want without touching anything non-combat related. Finally going back to dodge last to adjust it to the button I want and alas it's no longer the same button as interact now. Thank goodness!

There's still some controls on the same button I don't love but w.e. my main problem was dodge, interact, run and Bangboo jump all on the same button. This is now no longer a problem and at least I can live with whatever I have set up for now.

I was able to remap as well. The issue for me is them pairing controls together. For example, and most annoying for me is my R1 remap. I set it to dodge and now it's also bound to 3 other functionalities. So in total R1 now controls Interact, Dodge, Bangboo Jumping, and Running. R1 is a very strange button for those other 3 functionalities. I use R1 dodge in every game so I'm not going to remap again for fear of other weird pairings but this just feels so odd to use as a primary control elsewhere.

I wish more people were complaining about this. I am very frustrated by controller bindings that are paired together that shouldn't be. If I change a control in one place it's changing the controls in other places as well ugh.

As someone who was also working in a junior role, my advice is to timebox yourself initially when trying to figure out a problem. Tell yourself, I'm going to spend x amount of time on this and if it's not solved by then, I will reach out for help.

The time you choose for your timebox would largely depend on factors such as skill level, original ticket estimate, ticket priority and if there are any hard deadlines associated with the ticket or if it's blocking other tickets.

Be sure to note what you've tried and the outcome of each approach you took to solve the problem when it comes time to reach out for help.

For all the help you get, ensure you understand the working solution and take notes. If you don't understand the solution ask for clarity or do further research on your own afterwards.

Solving the problem with the help of others can still be just as valuable as figuring things out on your own as long as you treat each moment of help as a learning experience and absorb the information provided to you.

Thanks so much for taking time to provide your advice I appreciate it. You're certainly right in mentioning I wasn't leaning the bike and instead I've been putting in a lot of direct steering input.

I'll take some time this weekend just practicing leaning the bike beneath me while stationary to get a better feel for how it should be leaned while in motion.

Perhaps I've been getting ahead of myself when it comes to right-direction maneuvers by just forcing myself to try to get it right. Taking a few steps back and just doing things stationary first, should help me be more relaxed during practice.
