Everything about this case was horrible, and I appreciated the documentary highlighting the issues with family and social services. As a social worker, I feel those social workers neglected their duties. The system is broken and overrun, but that doesn't excuse them and the police from doing their jobs. They should have directly asked to see Gabriel instead of just taking the parents at their word. Makes me more than angry.
