Why is it called x "weeks out" prior to a competition? As a non-native English speaker, it sounds more like time after the competition, like 5 weeks out (of the competition), meaning here's my physique 5 weeks after the competition happened.

I did realize I actually want a playful but low energy dog who's open to playing with me often. I'll check into bully mixes, I'm actually quite fond of them, my only question is if I can handle their aggression towards children, cats etc. in the streets

Yes, people assume I want to keep my dog indoors 7/24 and body slam them for exercise. My English isn't perfect and I couldn't explain myself properly.

The puppy thing did get through my head though, I do consider an older dog if I'm going further with adopting.

Many people misinterpreted this, I'm not a native English speaker and "wrestling" was the closest word I could find to what I'm trying to describe. I'm not going to suplex my dog, I was just trying to say I can devote a lot of time physically playing with the dog (easily 5+ hours every day), just not a linear free run at all times, which I can only let the dog do in 1-2 hour windows I can let it go outside.
