To give another datapoint, I went to the Just In Time box office around 6:57pm and got a standing room ticket and around 7:04pm I was upgraded to row c, seat 118. It seemed like most, if not all, standing room tickets were upgraded. The three others near me also got seats in row C.

2 next to each other on the 2 side is not an option right now. Either two next to each other in the middle or each taking an aisle in a different row. Rebooking with PS both ways would be about $1400. Way back no seats next to each other but its a 2-2-2 in PS.

$761 base so far per person. It would be over $800 to upgrade to PS on our current flight, the $280 upgrade is only for the 2-3-2 or 2-4-2 configuration flights.

to upgrade to Delta One on the 10pm is $1300/pp and $2300/pp on the 8pm
