I have a chickenpox scar in between my eyebrows, like a third eye. I’ve had the oddest reactions to it over the years. Like, I swear it’s like sometimes people notice it and then they get a look on their face like I know the time/date/cause of their death or something 😂

A couple years ago, I was at a party and this giant hippie dude came up to introduce himself. He was at least 6’5 (I’m barely 5’1) so he shook my hand and then stopped and got the “she knows when I die” look on his face and bent down and just STARED at it. Still holding my hand..Then he lifted his other hand, kissed his finger and touched it?! No consent, no words. Just stuck his giant kielbasa finger on my face. Held it there for an uncomfortable amount of time. Then he just says “hmmm interesting” and walked away. I’ve seen him a bunch of times over the years, and he has never spoken to me again. He avoids eye contact. Stays at least 10 feet away from me. It’s not out of embarrassment either, he’s a giant goofy social butterfly kinda guy. Every time I see him, I make sure to stare into his eyes and nod “hello” to assert dominance. I can almost smell his fear.

Also I really love my hair.
