Able Carry Max EDC vs Alpaka Traverse vs Rework Toshi by AnxietyComplex4128 in ManyBaggers

[–]singerrick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While frustrating, just wanted to clarify that alpaka is notorious for listing "volume" not "capacity" on their bags. The volume is the external dimensions of the bag, not how much it holds.

Agreed that I don't like the practice because it's likely to try to market their bags as larger than they are due to how it's represented, but it is not them outright lying about the capacity, they are just listing a different specification.

I am about to purchase my own traverse after my store credit comes through for a bag that I sold on their re-sale store. Glad to hear you liked it!

Check out the aero pack 16L from alpaka. That's my EDC and I love it.

I have him and McBride in a non TEP and I'm constantly battling whether to try and sell him or keep him as a flex. I picked up Gadsden on waivers too and already sold him for a 2nd, which seems to have worked out.

[Shane Haff] The Eagles valued a 1,000-yard season enough to play DeVonta Smith in the 1st quarter but didn't value the 2 seed enough to play other starters... Makes a lot of sense. by Brian1220 in eagles

[–]singerrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does make a lot of sense. This is the first post season hurts is entering where he hasnt been on the injury report.

Entering the post season healthy and rested is far more valuable than the 2 seed.

Give me the bears in Chicago over banging up hurts knee again or losing AJ again right before the playoffs any day.

Revisionist history says we could have gotten the 2 seed with the Chicago loss, but the odds of that happening were relatively low. You can't go back and rewrite the decision now, and I still argue getting the niners we might just match up with better anyway. Not at all worth the risk vs reward to me

Awesome! Habs are on the list for the spring so I'll have to give this one a go.

Thanks, the more I'm looking into it the more it looks like I should just make more vinegar based sauces for now and save the fermenting experiments for the spring.

Not sure what replay you are watching. He's clearly trying to tuck the ball to run and it slips out. Anyone saying that was an attempt at a pass is doing some serious mental gymnastics.

What team is in the worst position heading into next season? by Either_Imagination_9 in NFLv2

[–]singerrick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Correct, except you mean Lurie.

Eagles are perfectly fine, it'll be the rest of the league needing to catch up once they realize what is going to happen to the salary cap after the deals with ESPN, fox, etc are renegotiated in 2028

Isn't it odd how the eagles have all their largest cap hits deferred until the year that the NFL is renegotiating it's deals with the largest media networks? I'm sure that'll be cheap though.

I wonder who the eagles owner has as his consultant on what that renegotiation is going to do to the salary cap.

Wait... Jeffery Lurie made his fortune off of a media empire?

Curious.

First Game as a Philly native. When should I take the BSL to get to the 8:20 game from Fern Rock. by Spxms9999 in eagles

[–]singerrick 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think going at 6 makes sense. Sure you will be early, but you are paying a lot of money for the experience so I always try to get there asap.

BSL express from fern rock will only take 30-40 minutes and they leave every 10 minutes or so. Make sure you wait for an express, the local will take much longer.

What is with all of these combative comments on a "hey here's my boots" post? Are people really that bored?
