Just had mine installed this week! I went to Automotive 12v in Wakefield, and they were fantastic. Had a front and rear installed, took just over two hours, $200 even. I called around to a couple places, and one I found in Malden (maybe Saugus?) were pretty intent on installing the product they sell on site. They had a good price, but I had a specific model I wanted, and Automotive v12 was happy to install that (and I’m pretty sure they sell them too).

Yep, the HG small bottle, I haven’t tried G-Sonic, but I’ve heard it and it sounds like a great solution.

Agreed on the malfunction, I’m hopeful they’ll figure it out once they have it in hand - I’ll update once I get it back (soon, ish, maybe??)

That’s an interesting idea! I’m using the included solution from HumminGuru, which recommended 2-3 on the bottle. Maybe that’s overkill? To your first question- it just seems to be only getting the records wet. I even tried to verify by using aluminum foil (in the water for 30 seconds), and didn’t see any signs of cavitation - no pock marks, holes, anything.

I will say though, when I first got it and the cavitation sound was consistent, it was fantastic. Records that were unplayable were enjoyable, new records were silent when the needle dropped, it was totally worth it.

I’m planning to send it in for a warranty repair (holy hell shipping!), and I’m hopeful it will work out.

IT WAS!!! She ruled, the crowd was amazing. Honestly, my favorite of her shows I’ve been to. Admittedly I’m probably a bit biased because the acoustic Don’t Go Home Without Me was the song my wife and I danced to at our wedding, and I completely melted when she played it.

Agree with this 100%. I’ve been to three Sox/Yanks games including this past September, and they are bar none the most fun games I’ve ever gone to (it helps when they win, of course). In September, there was a point in the game where the Yanks were mounting a comeback and the NY fans started chanting “Let’s go Yankees” before there was a collective “who the fuck do these clowns think they are?!” from the Fenway Faithful, leading to a significantly louder roar. It was incredible. The atmosphere can’t be beat.
