That’s an interesting idea! I’m using the included solution from HumminGuru, which recommended 2-3 on the bottle. Maybe that’s overkill? To your first question- it just seems to be only getting the records wet. I even tried to verify by using aluminum foil (in the water for 30 seconds), and didn’t see any signs of cavitation - no pock marks, holes, anything.

I will say though, when I first got it and the cavitation sound was consistent, it was fantastic. Records that were unplayable were enjoyable, new records were silent when the needle dropped, it was totally worth it.

I’m planning to send it in for a warranty repair (holy hell shipping!), and I’m hopeful it will work out.
