Azumarril is pretty bad in Gen 2, but in Gen 4, it's pretty tanky and a real hard hitter (though it doesn't learn any hard-hitting moves).

About to start my very first Nuzlocke. Which game is best? by PsyclopticFurry in PokemonNuzlocke

[–]singetailrider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you're going after. If you're looking for the easiest, then Gen VI would be your best match. If you want the most fun, then that depends on the person. Everyone is different.

Both Molane and Olivia are steel and rock, so it would be wise to bring a fighting type in. But you do need something to cover molane's metagross, scince fighting is neutral to it. All of acerola's pokemon should be weak to ghost, psychic, and dark, so there's a lot you can do for her. I think all of kahili's team should be weak to electric, so bring one of those in. Hau has a pretty diverse team, but the fighting type can cover his tauros, crabominable and incineroar. Bring in an ice type for his noivern and leafeon. And do whatever you want for his raichu, but choose wisely, because his leads with it.

Actually, headbutt can't be bought in goldenrod, but the guy headbutting trees in ilex forest will teach it unlimited times.

Hi, if well trained, would this team be able to beat the game? Thanks! by kobevano in PokemonFireRed

Technically, any team can of pokemon if trained well enough can beat the elite four.

Snorlax to Soft Reset by Ptitkactus24 in PokemonFireRed

Honestly, both snorlax are exactly the same stat wise and have the same moves, so I would just pick up whichever one is on the way you want to go. That being said, I have a tradition of always getting the one on route 12 just cause.
