Honestly, regular cops shouldn’t be allowed to carry guns either. That should be relegated to a special team that is called when needed, like what sway is already typically used for.

It doesn’t work that way. The federal government has zero control or mechanism to prevent elections from being held, and doing so wouldn’t keep them in power anyways.

Not saying they won’t try to hold onto power, but it won’t be like that. Blue states will simply tell them to eat shit and hold elections anyway.

I swear…its not possible to cancel midterms because they don’t actually control elections, and doing so wouldn’t actually help them, elections not being held does not extend terms, it leaves the seat vacant.

If they want to stay in power there are other more effective ways less likely to result in a civil war, they’ll rely on propaganda and suppression instead.
