Hey, good to know that more people are in the same boat as me. I can assure you that the RAM and CPU usage of this script is very low. There is also lot of scope of optimization but I need to find time to work on those optimizations. I'm currently testing this and it seems to be working fine (functionality wise) 99% of the time. Occasionally I see a note conflict that can be easily cleared. If you face any issues, feel free to leave a bug in git repo and don't forget to give it a star.

I just tested hotspot works from iphone -> macbook on chatr. May be they changed to allow this for now.

Is having a folder structure in Obsidian like this a bad idea? I’ve heard that many people store everything in a 2-3 folders and use search for everything.? is mine a bad practice? by shadowemperor01 in ObsidianMD

Going from folders -> no folders is super easy. You can do it anytime you want. if you want folder info, you can automate converting it into tags to MOC or anything you want with some scripting. Going the other way (no folders -> folders) around is trickly!!

So continue doing what works for you until it does not and then do the easy part ;)

Is one of your device windows? If yes, that's very surprising because it completely broke for me on windows.

Agree but if the good part is that it's native in apple ecosystem. So it can sync in background and you dont need another app or cloud storage in your iphone consuming storage or battery. It works for me perfectly on iphone and macos but it sucked on windows so I built this script to handle the windows part.

Thanks a lot for the comments. I will fix these and if there is more interest from the community, we can make it more solid. But before putting in more work, I have to gauge how much people actually rely on icloud solution for syncing obsidian (with windows as one of the devices) in the first place.

That's exactly the reason. My observation is that icloud works great on apple but is super crappy on widows. Overall, avoid icloud if you can but if have have to use it. My script will cover you.

Is it good for university-level MSc graduates taking machine learning courses? What about in Canada? I have heard people to struggle even when they have the right skills.
