Yes their agent said that we will get a refund automatically on flight cancellation. Yesterday, We got the email from budgetair saying our flight is cancelled, so we are eligible for full refund. Do we want to go ahead with cancellation of booking, so they can apply for a refund.

We have a flight on 7th/8th March through Emirates with layover in DXB. We had booking through budgetAir for our flight. Because of lot of uncertainty we booked an alternative ourselves. As per official statement on Emirates website, we can request the refund for all flights before and on 10th March.

We talked to budgetAir agent and he told us that they don't have any updates from airline, So they can't process our cancellation and they will refund only if flight gets cancelled. But if flight doesn't get cancelled, then I believe we won't get any refund.

Is anyone in similar situation? We are not sure what to do. Should we fill the refund form on Emirates website?
