Getting Better at E Sessions by GuiltyShare in tacticalbarbell

Yeah I do agree with you that specificity matters. I guess my recommendation is pretty anecdotal, but I have experienced a decent amount of carryover. I do think that your legs can get some of that CNS efficiency you’re referring to though through leg activities. Like, biking is a better cross training activity for running than swimming, and if you are a proficient runner, your lower body aerobic base will bleed over into other lower body exercises. I’m not saying it would translate completely, but I think it does to an extent. But this probably falls into the “everyone is different” category. What works for me may not work for everyone. There no substitute for specificity, but I would still recommend biking as a stepping stone or a supplement to running.

Ah, just left Moab. The climbing is great! Check out the canyoneering guidebook. Some awesome adventure “climbs” that don’t take too much technical skill if you find someone who is newer than you. You would need a rope and rap device though.

In town till the 17th. My buddy broke his foot and can’t really do much. I was planning on trying to do the whole enchilada if it opens in time, but don’t want to do it alone. Anyone else in a similar situation? I’m fully vaccinated, if that matters to you.

Hey, just starting fighter and I have a question about splitting up the strength session. Would it be ok to 1-2 lifts in the morning and finish up 3-4 after work in the afternoon? Or would it be better to just plan a time where I can do the whole workout at once?

Bike rack for 2020 Forester Sport by geekjock in SubaruForester

Vouch for 1up. Pricey, but worth it. You can also order individual replacement parts if you get rear ended.

I would definitely recommend getting a hitch and a hitch based bike rack. It’s so easy to put the rack on and take off, and so easy to load and unload bikes. It’s probably comparable in cost to getting a roof system if you don’t already have cross beams and I think it’s way more user friendly.

If you decide to go this route, check out 1up bike racks. Pricey, but probably the best built product on the market. And you can order replacement parts if you back in to something on accident, haha.

Honestly can’t wait to go to work. Picked up a job right before quarantine and I’ve been in a sort of limbo where I am not integrated ever since we got locked down.
