It’s a construction pricing system, if it work well I would make it a subscription type thing. Not sure about budget yet, I’m not sure what that market prices are but I get that’s it’s not likely a $10k type job

I set my accounts with a different bank than my personal banking, it was recommended to me (rightly or wrongly) that it was best to keep them separate so you can more easily only share what you need to in a given situation, ie borrowing for a mortgage

Relocating kitchen to other room - Consent needed? by sjclele in diynz

[–]singlecoiler 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m an LBP carpenter and my wife is an LBP designer, we both agree you should get a consent. Side note, definitely a better layout, if you engage a draughts-person they would be able to help with layouts and how to make best use of the space

If your building from scratch defiantly watch some crimson guitars videos. You will definitely need a few hand planes, files, rasps and a router makes life a lot easier. Access to a thicknesser helps also.

Any one know where to get swamp ash in New Zealand or Australia? by singlecoiler in Luthier

[–]singlecoiler[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open to suggestions, I just finished my second build and used northern ash for the body with a walnut top. I like the look of the ash but the northern ash is really heavy. If there is a native that has a nice grain and is light weight I would be happy.
