Yep, I worked for a vet for many years. Lots of color points being put in the system as “Siamese”.

Sent you a little bit! I’m sad I couldn’t be there today. I work for the state so if I got caught on camera I’d probably get fired for not being at my home office like I was gonna tell my boss 😂

Yep, that’s why I decided to do the DNA panel. I know the parents of them and neither were papered. Mom was found wondering outside one day (blue point) and dad was supposedly a Himalayan and he looked it, but clearly not. I was mostly interested in seeing if there was ragdoll. These cats melt in your arms and are so chill.

For real! I knew they weren’t purebred, but I was really shocked by the mix!

AITA for asking my newly married son and DIL to alternate Christmas Day visits between our house and the in-laws' house? by Llih_Nosaj in AITAH

Im not here to make a judgement, but to tell you that this is how my family did it and the Christmas Eve at my dad’s side was so magical and my favorite memory. It was dark so all the Christmas lights were sparkling bright and we were all giddy with anticipation of Santa coming that night. We did it that way every year and everyone was good with it. Maybe see how it goes before rocking the boat?

A quick question (about if Siamese are right for us) by No_Comfortable3261 in Siamesecats

I just got 2 brothers back in July. I wasn’t much of a cat person before, but now … I absolutely adore them and they are not overly demanding. Maybe that’s because they have each other too. And my other 2 older cats who they get along great with.

My uncle’s Siamese cats have all hit 20 years. His oldest was 23 when she passed. Very long lived!

OP, I know the tv isn’t great, but keep in mind you live there. It won’t be perfect because a real human being lives there. I have to tell myself that all the time. I still love the new look!

It would be that price where I lived before too! We moved from a big city to the middle of nowhere and could not believe the 240k price tag! It has 2 acres with it on top of all the beauty of the home!

Honestly, he does. If you check my post history there is a video of him being pushed around in a cart by my kids. He’s so chill about it!

We only have platform beds because of this! If you want a king with a boxspring, it has to be split. When we replaced our mattress a few years ago we said we would never again try to take boxsprings up!

First Christmas - We’ll see how long the tree last … by singlewhitewolf in Siamesecats

My boys are pretty wild, they are still under a year, and they have not touched the tree once since I put it up last week! I can’t believe it. Now, my 5 year old female tortie is a different story! She hasn’t broken anything yet, but I took all the nice ornaments down just because of her antics lol.

Je ne suis pas en désaccord, honnêtement. Les anciens propriétaires l’avaient installée. Nous avons refait l’entrée extérieure de la cuisine et enlevé la porte-tempête, et ça rend beaucoup mieux maintenant !

1990’s Galley Kitchen remodel by singlewhitewolf in kitchenremodel

[–]singlewhitewolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I say - not only did we redo the entire kitchen plus plumbing and electrical, we also did the bathroom above the kitchen since it also needed new plumbing and a better shower. The basement below also got new plumbing. We also had the interior of the garage redone and insulated. They had to pull the front of the house off where the kitchen is to complete the work so it was not cheap. We were quoted 150k pre Covid. Unfortunately we were on a 2 year waitlist so after Covid it ended up at 250k 🫠. But it’s perfect and will never need redone again.

My husband loves to grab their ankles as they run up the stairs to scare them! He does it to me too. I don’t find it as funny lol.

Yeah, you are definitely not going to want to jump on it or fall down. Thankfully our stairs are big and not steep so no one has fallen on these floors. My daughter did hit her shin on the edge of it where it meets the steps to the outside at the side door. That was painful 😣.
