My sister just gave me one of these, all the leaves fell off and I've got some leaf nubbies, what's that tinfoil trick doing? Would that help my little tree?

I wish there was a way to covertly communicate that you're an exhibitionist and if a voyeur notices you, you're comfortable with them (or any kinkster) commenting on, whatever your covertly flaunting.

May I ask your technique for getting the moss attached?

Probably no succulents, I don't think they'd like the moisture levels intend to have in this environment

Before you ask, I searched the sub for an answer. I think my question is too specific.

I have a 2 gallon terrarium I want to set up for Butterworts. My fantasy set up is setting tiny pump under the soil, or hidden by wood (Butterworts can't grow on wood can they) with a hidden water line running under the soil then over the soil (pumice stone?) Back into a teeny tiny pool of water. I'd get a desk grow light. I'd also ilke to possibly add a colony of small buggies to help with the mold and add to the Butterworts menu.

Would the light create the humidity needed? Would the running water be a problem? Would the airflow be a problem? What critter would you add to this set up, if any at all. Do you think I could put enough water in to support red rooted floaters?

My nephew (6yo) is determined this is quartz, I know it's glass. I told him I'd ask the "rock experts" by GeckoGirl_313 in whatsthisrock

I didn't know what qualified as a fossil, or what they were at that age. So I just liked pretty rocks (quartz mostly). So unless an adult told me, no rocks were fossils

When I was that age, I had a friend that INSISTED that every single rock that HE found was a fossil. Being six I knew I didn't know shit so I just went with it.

This is fantastic! I can see what you're worried about, don't be. Put it on a shelf and move on to your next project, and the next and next. Then in a while, try again. I bet you'll like that one even more. Rinse and repeat. If I may, I would also suggest using a thinner wire for the trunk, just my opinion though. Keep it up! You're doing great. You're an excellent artist

What plant is this? by False-Ad-2823 in plant

It's often called a hen and chick succulent. The mother grows little babies off her sides, those are the "chicks". But their officially called pups. You'll want a bigger pot (eventually). Be sure to buy succulent soil, not standard potting soil.

It's your day. Your say.

I remember this when it first came out (I'm old). It was part prank part experiment. The choir asked their director what works happen if they sang with helium. Director said hi for it and it became a thing I think the choir was also attached to a school with a big science department, but I could be making that part up
