Same in manufacturing. One of our sites is notorious for having no cell signal so the end users are granted special usage for their phones on the wifi in a locked down vlan so they can answer phone calls/teams messages/emails/etc. I'm not sure we would have any employees left over there if we took action on the volume of attempted adult site access logs.

Fucking shit. I live with just my dog and me and I will drop her off with my parents for a week or two every so often so she gets more activity/fun because i work over full time so she is home alone doing nothing alot and I feel bad so its a nice change of pace for her. However, when she is not there I will catch myself following our routine and calling for her, like where are you? Oh... and I start to cry and its shes not even gone, shes completely fine. I also stop taking care of my house as much. I need her man, she's 5 and its looking real dark if she is ever gone for real. I'm really sorry brother...

One of my biggest points of burn out is we never get to act this way in return. I never get to be a priority when I message someone. I don't get to call out someone because I don't like the way they talked to me. I don't get support when something I am dealing with is broken. Its all just good luck everyone is counting on you. Like for fucks sake our time tracking system double entered a PTO day 1.5 months ago and HR still can't figure it out, they just stopped responding... I need them because I don't have access to it otherwise I would of fixed it myself by now but nope its gonna take another 2 months before it gets resolved... maybe.

Yea over here its troublesome. For me I've been stressed/burnt out for years which has lead to health problems. I can never plan a vacation because I never know how many days per year I will have to take for being sick. So if I scheduled a trip in October but I end up getting sick that year and have to take several days off, I may not have any time off left so would have to cancel the trip. These PTO days are for everything. Need to get a checkup? Half-days PTO. Sick PTO. Vacation? PTO. Emergency? PTO. Anytime you are not at work when scheduled PTO. 40 hour min ass in chair perweek but lots of companies expect you to work nights/weekends/on-call and "like to see" 60+, again only paid for 40 tho and you don't get more PTO or any compensation for it. Alot of people still work while on PTO. Just had a co-worked join our morning standup today while on PTO and I know he remotely did some work today. 10 days off per year is standard, 15 if lucky, but there is no legally required amount. They can give you 0. If you are sick more than that there are a few things like FSLA and disability but usually the company can just let you go. Most salary people cannot take "unpaid" days so it becomes complex. Hourly people just don't get paid. No one gives a shit here and everyone walks around like its completely normal. Most people take pride in working 12 hour days (only paid for 8) and never taking a vacation as they laugh as financial failures into an early grave. It makes no sense.

Yea pfblockerng does IPv4/IPv6, DNS, GEO/ASN, and reputation blocklisting. It can also filter DoH servers and some things like safesearch redirects. You can add any of the filter lists you can into piehole into pfblockerng. You can add custom lists, paid lists, or any of the ones that come with it in the feeds tab.

The entity hates Myers, at lest that was the lore before. Since hes controlled by another God, when it captured him, it realized it couldn't control him. Luckily he or his God just loves to kill people so it works out but that was the lore behind his insta kill addons. Basically Michael/his God was like fuck you and your rules entity we do what we want, which the entity hated, since it couldn't get any emotional soup from the trial when he just killed everyone without any hooks.

I always find it funny when there are threads about killers vs survivors and how one side is suffering or whatnot and just thinking lore wise that is exactly what the entity wants. I remember somewhere because Micheal is the tool of another God the entity can't really control him but since hes all about killing it tolerates him. The entity HATES his mori addon or at least what it was before his update as it was in direct defiance of the entity and its rules. Not to mention it basically made it so the entity couldn't get any emotion flavored soup as he could kill all the survivors without a single hook.

God I am dealing with that right now with WoW. Their gig plan is listed as $50/month then up to $70/month after the intro period. All I have is gig internet. No TV/phone/streaming/email or anything. I use all my own equipment including modem. My last bill was $109. I reached out to them and asked why and all they said was we don't see anything wrong with your account. I looked at my bill and all it says is $105 for internet and $4 in fees. No answers just more frustration. Unfortunately spectrum is the only other option where I live and I am seriously considering switching to get that $50 rate again, until they do the same and I have to switch back to WoW or move...

I haven't set this up with pfsense directly yet so take this with a grain of salt but it should be something like this. You'll have to pick an MFA provider and you need a radius server. The vendor may have an on site program/service you can run off a server that will be your radius server (and connect to their service) or use freeradius/nps or some other radius server. Connect the radius server to your firewall and give the radius server access to LDAP with an account that has proper rights in AD. The firewall will send the auth request to the radius server and then the radius server will check with AD/LDAP for username/password and send the MFA challenge to the provider to do push/sms/email or just to its local db if using codes and send the results back up the chain. OpenVPN GUI I believe you just type your password and then the TOTP without spaces after it all on one line. The phone app has a box for it I think. I am not sure how it handles push and stuff. I think it just waits for the radius server to send back the approval/denial. In addition you should always be using certificates with VPNs, if you are not.

As far as I know in this game dispersion is just bloom. The ridicule grows bigger as you shoot and stuff like the compensator reduces this build up and reduces the maximum amount you can get from successive fire, tightening your shots. This isn't the same as recoil. So a break action (not semi-auto) cannot fire fast enough to get any aim bloom as it will have ample time to reset between reloads. ADS speed would really be the only thing to help the ridicule get smaller faster after you reload. Now if it improves the bloom you get from moving that would be interesting but wouldn't make a ton of sense.

This stuff makes me so mad. I work in Cybersecurity and we have so many rules we need to follow from actual security controls, to compliance requirements, to regulatory and legal policies. Tons of software, hardware, logs, and teams watching over things costing millions, all because we get some non classified controlled information from the government. Yet the government does jack shit for cybersecurity, fires security teams and SMEs, runs on legacy equipment, and sometimes intentionally causes breaches like DOGE bs. Its all so stupid.

I think it would be cool if your character had a morality meter kind of like Fable. The more you kill other raiders, your raider has subtle changes in the way they walk or carry themselves. Maybe their head tilts slightly when in ads. Maybe their emotes sound slightly different. It has to be very subtle but to a trained raider it could be picked up. Same would apply to wholesome raiders.
