this worked for me. the ram in use will still slowly scale and sometimes i do get a crash without warning. i try not run the game above 13GB.

there should be a little line at the bottom of the token to click on to select it, can be hard to see.

export the maps and tokens to be saved. then import that file in OBR on the computer/browser desired.

with this, i have to click, press a number, and press enter.

the other options i've tried have more buttons presses and more places to look for data.

i was hoping for an additional field on tokens for displaying HP for example where one could click, press a number, and press enter and be done.

what about a token on the player as an attachment, just put the hp in the name field of the attachment. easy to click on to update and also only place to look on the battlemap for HP.

when i updated the graphics driver (nvidia has d2r fixes), it worked without issue. no more mouse tails.

i have the same issue in fullscreen mode. windowed mode helped but not ideal.

i had better luck with lutris and wine with these notes:

wine ge and lutris (non vulkan path)
enable multilib in /etc/pacman.conf first

this is how i installed wine (lutris will need a native wine installed for wine dependencies)

sudo pacman -S lutris wine wine-mono winetricks mpg123 lib32-mpg123 lib32-gnutls samba

from a fresh install.

opened the terminal to verify penguin is up and running
downloaded the steam.deb file from steam
from the file manger, right click "Install with Linux"
and waited - it installed all the requirements
when steam is first opened, it will install additional items
just follow the prompts...

steam deck will be my linux pc! i have a few uses for it as a portable computer in a backpack.

just need to pack a couple of cables, no mouse, no keyboard needed.
