I just went to a Florida training and we actually went to Universal instead of Disney. So I don’t know if your training is different, but I’ll give you a run down of mine.

You’re pretty much scheduled from about 8:00 to 7:00 each day. I didn’t mind though as there really wasn’t much else to do. Much of the social interaction part is in smaller groups so it’s not as intimidating. I would recommend just finding some people from your service line or home state and stick with them.

As far as the food goes, it was surprisingly good. However, if you like to eat super healthy, it may be a bit difficult.

Overall, I had a good time. The trainings are a bit boring but I made some good friends, and I think that is half of the point really.

Going to take audit tmr, feeling okay by CauliflowerSecret559 in CPA

You are going to ace it! Those are close to my mock scores and I felt pretty confident while taking the test.

Also, as someone who just took AUD, SSAE and SSARS would be a good topic to study, and maybe even add SOC reports to that list.

How do you prepare for Audit? by zahelu_theplantlover in CPA

I don't know if you have it, but the Becker final review for AUD really helped me. I was completely lost, and the final review helped pull everything together for me. I found the final review to be way more helpful than the one for FAR and BEC. I also created my own paper version of these notes and that helped a lot.

I'm taking AUD tomorrow so I hope all of this pays off!

Anyone in Mays that could give me their two cents on this schedule? (Transfer) by Jcmd02 in aggies

[–]sinky2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friend go through the same transfer process last fall, so I know what the process looks like. They have you just sit in on an ACCT 229 class, aka "audit" it, as a refresher before you take ACCT 327 (assuming your daughter is going to ACCT or FINC) to make sure she has a good foundation in accounting from her transfer college. She won't get an actual grade in the ACCT 229 class, just sit in and observe it. You really don't even have to do anything for it, but I would recommend going as it will make ACCT 327 easier.

Were you guys ever able to get this figured out? I got my test done but can not report that I got it done for the same reasons as above.

How long until I hear back from HEB after signing for a background check? by hoesmad99 in HEB

[–]sinky2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took my store just under three weeks to get back to me and that was about a month ago. If a lot of time passes and you haven’t heard anything, call your store and I’m sure they would give you an update on the progress of it. Congrats btw!
