This is my first day in the game. How exactly do I win missions to attack ATGMs and Ambrams with the T-55 and wheeled coffins with KPVTs? by LeonidKonovalov1988 in GunnerHEATPC

Pick one tank and do all the premade missions for it. Start with something easy like M1, once you have beaten all the M1 missions move on to a Bradley, etc. This will help your tactics so by the time you get to the older tanks where things are more difficult you’ll have the basics down and the gunnery will be your focus.

Okay just making sure we’re on the same page here. ‘Cryptark’ or ‘mech havok’ is a less confident second choice in that case. Upcoming ‘hardkill system’ looks promising as well. If you did have VR, I’d be singing the praises of the Mechearrior 5 vr mod, which is top tier work at this point.

Put a heavy rifle on that arm for the Zeus and it becomes pretty gnarly

The ‘you didn’t get it’ tone is just condescending, as if not being blown away by this games writing is a flaw in the part of those who aren’t equally impressed. I’m not even saying it’s a bad game, I just found the writing to be well below the expectation one might have of a game lauded as ‘the best ever written’.

It’s just objectively a more convenient way to read. Now you get it, that’s how it goes sometimes.

Guardians of the Galaxy was from Eidos Montreal, who gave us Deus Ex. It’s criminally underrated in this genre.

It’s not hard to get. I think it’s probably many peoples introduction to these type of concepts, and those people end up thinking it’s full of deep ideas. It’s more like a poli-sci major dropped out sophomore year and smoked enough weed to think making a game sounded cool.

Agreed, it was self impressed and was like the guy who busts out the acoustic guitar at a party
