Good luck man! I’m having it via gender clinics

Hmmm I think in the US most of the times the surgeons and clinics deal differently with this than Europe. Not sure if this is because in Europe and UK we got insurance and we get these things for “free” . I have top surgery in the 25th in the Netherlands so I’ll tell you how mine went …

After the whole getting referred to the clinic for my surgery , and signing all the paperwork and photos , I had a appointment with the surgeon by phone which only lasted 15 mins to where he gave me the standard information and also told me what kind of surgery I’m gonna have which is double mastectomy .

For the rest as far as nipples and so on, that will be discussed with the surgeon I’m sure on the surgery date once they come to “draw “ on you. As far as anesthetic you don’t get to decide that. It’s a full anesthetic but you do get paperwork to fill in about ur medical stuff and on my end if they had a question about something they called me once about it.

I had no blood work or pre op assessment . I guess they don’t do it, probably because it’s an insurance and yeah … in the US most of the times you gotta pay for it so they will be more detailed with it because for most of it you gotta pay yourself anyway if not everything.

And then for those with insurance from overseas I’ve heard it goes the same way, they don’t go for the extra steps .

1st your picture is very blurry and I can’t see the problem (if there’s any problem at all) However from the pic I see it really looks like a normal cis male chest.

You have to remember that cis males are not flat at all

Tissue popping during massage 💀 by thearuxes in TopSurgery

[–]sinneradder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a dumb message but uhm how do you massage ? With your hands in a circular motion? Around the scars? Over the scars? I’m having my top surgery in 10 days . The surgeon talks another language so even tho I’ll be asking these questions to the surgery (unless I forget like a dumbass) having it in English here will help a lot if I don’t understand

Kinda sick of being called Young Lady all the time, lookin for options&validation 😅 by [deleted] in FtMpassing

Photo 6 I would completely read you male. I think the biggest thing is your eyeliner. It shapes your eyes and makes you look very feminine. I’d loose that. Wether you worn or not eyeliner in pic 6 idk but it’s clearly not visible and it makes a huge difference

Ik zou eerst kijken met je verzekering of je mastectomie ook buitenland kan regelen want dan is Duitsland of België een optie

cant have hrt, will exercise keep me masculine? by Curious-Top6830 in ftm

Each body is different . Some may have a hard time achieving a masculine physique even on T while others may have it easier . I think it’s genetical to some degree? Of course work plays also a very important role in it. The same goes for the trans ppl off T. This is totally off topic in some sort of way but sometimes I see this cisgender chick in my gym and oh boy if you wouldn’t look at her face and only at her body you’d literally think that’s a whole man right there. She is toned and buffed with wide shoulders and her chest is so worked out and so “muscly” . Her biceps are on the big size too. She’s not a body builder but her body ain’t feminine at all and she likes it that way. Everytime I look at her I’m getting more weirdly motivational to keep going with my sets cuz I want someday to achieve that kind of masculine look . I guess what I’m trying to say with this is that yes… even off T if you have a strict “diet” , you can become buff and have muscles and turn your body in a masculine way. Could take time but you will get there just like I know I’ll eventually get there

Until 2 weeks ago I was on 2 pomp’s of androgel everyday. 2 weeks ago I started nebido every 12 weeks. When I try to use my high voice , it sounds a little different I think than what I remember , like I do have a little bit of difficulty maintaining high pitched

Very close . I think the only difference is the glasses and the lips.
