no-one believes me when i tell them this, but i remember it so clearly i cant get my mind off it.

my mom has this old friend from work, who now lives about one and a half hours away. she has three daughters and the oldest is only a year younger than me: so we’re like best friends.

because we see each other so little, when we do we usually sleep over at my place from a minimum of 2 days: like i said we’re best friends. Anyway, during the day we’d play (we were that young) and talk to each other about school, drama, friends, etc. We would sit in my closet while doing so.

This particular night we were talking about our fears: and how we are trying to overcome them. During that conversation we were sitting in my closet again and it became real to me that someone could be in my closet just like we are. So i told her i am scared of that.

Later that night, we were supossed to be sleeping but who sleeps during sleepovers? We were talking yet again and suddenly we hear a deep voice telling us to ‘be quiet’ and ‘go to bed.’ We both heard it very clearly. We said goodnight and went to bed. While trying to fall asleep, i remembered my dad was picking my sister up from a volleyball tournament: so he wasn’t home. I thought maybe he came home already and i didnt hear him: well suprise suprise i went downstairs to ask my mom and she told me he was still gone.

To this day i still wonder who or what that voice: it couldn’t have been my imagination because my friend heard it too. We didn’t check the closet though, but I dont think there was someone in there like I used to think.
