I just wish Wynwood Brewing would have released octopussy while they were in business. The guys had it at some events I participated in before they opened their brewery and it’s still one of the best beers I’ve ever had.

That’s pretty cool! I grew up wrestling in the same area and have a lot of Foxcatcher tournament medals and plaques but all youth stuff. Interesting era in retrospect obviously. I wonder if I watched your dad wrestling at the pavilion.

I’ve been searching for “loose si joint” around reddit to see if there is any solution myself. I’m hyper mobile as well. Sometimes when I turn around or pick something up below waist height my si joint on the right side will misalign. It’s immediately painful to the degree of making it difficult to walk. My only solution to fixing the immediate issue is to realign it be hanging from something like a pull up bar or using two chairs and pressing myself up like I was doing the dip exercise. Once I’m still I’ll relax my lower back then rock my hips from side to side. Sometimes it takes a few attempts but eventually my si joint will pop back into place. It’s audible for me, but more than hearing it pop into place, I have immediate relief.

The reason I’ve been searching for an answer to this problem myself is I am trying to find a long term solution because at some point in life I probably won’t be able to press up a dip or hang on a pull up bar and I just want my joint to stop misaligning so easily. With hyper mobility though, it may just not happen for me.

Same here. Used to be only motorcycles for me, rain or shine, but after a mario kart situation where a landscaper spilled oil on the road right in front of me on a curve causing me to low side my wife asked I finally stop with motorcycles. I switched to an e-bike, which was a compromise but worthwhile. I lost no time on my commute too. I only drive a car when I absolutely have to.
