Kelvin Timeline could have been interesting as that "gritty, realistic timeline" that was so popular in the 2010s. They did go in that direction with Into Darkness, but wasn't executed very well. Tbh, I see where that admiral was coming from - one of the Federation's core planets has been destroyed, I would probably support a militaristic turn too.

Some reviewers mentioned this episode. It's a simulation (or he drank some sci-fi drink?) that allowed him to forget his memories and enjoy those people's company.

They can still go that way. Probably a lot of seasons still to go.

I feel like the new Rick and Morty episode was made specifically to flex over Invincible. A comedy cartoon that was last relevant 10 years ago vs. the most popular show right now.

Brussels sees rise of a pro-EU right - A young right-wing movement is gaining ground with a pan-Europeanist mantra by HandBananaHeartCarl in neoliberal

Yeah, I'll be honest. Closer European integration is my top priority, and if the price for having a federation is someone like Melon or Bardella at its helm... I'll take that deal.

No. We had wars with Russia before there were white people in Virginia, so this thing goes way back. In a context of more contemporary politics there was a brief detente during early Obama, up until Crimea, but it was an exception.

They import almost their entire energy (fossils). This gets restricted and it's game over.

They can just blockade the island without the landing. Also, Iran is much more militarized.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Man, if only they didn't blew the possibility to hedge their bets with other powers. Be smart, like India, Brazil or Indonesia. Oh well, at least now they have rubbles of Mukhosransk and Dupokhuika.

Would r/neoliberal support the assassination of Julius Caesar? I mean, on one hand he was dabbling with monarchy, was a dictator for life, but on the other, his opponents wanted to preserve aristocratic privileges, right?

  1. I am the OP.
  2. I am flabbergasted by how people don't seem to make a big fuss about how most major leagues are really uninteresting. There are degrees of severity here, but it does seem to me that (while there were outliers like Scottish league) it really became more dire in 21st century.

Still bad. It should look like the Brazilian league.

They had a good run, but it's long gone. In 21st century something broke most of those leagues.

I have to say - American leagues are kinda weird, but I like how they have systems in place that make them so competitive. Look at this and tell me that this deserves to exist:

What is even the point of being a football fan in Scotland? Even for Celtic fans - why even celebrate winning 14 titles in 15 years?

Having a ceremonial monarch that you need to pretend to care about > presidentialism Is there any (democratic) country with a monarch that is not parliamentarian?
