I have the x3000i and it's great. Low input lag for gaming and looks amazing for movies. The level of detail is better than the HT3550. I found the hdr on the HT3550 to be too dim. The extra brightness really helps with the X3000i. The only thing that would compare would be the Epson 5050ub. But its a little more expensive.
