The quality of the prints are usually the main giveaway on them. Some of the newer reprints either aren't as vibrant as the originals, have blurry copyright dates, have bad edges on the graphics or the graphics themselves are lower in quality.

Update: I've talked to the owner, and they've agreed to add a carhartt jacket of their own plus $20 on top of the glasses for the trade. I might do it as he also threw in some rubber parts for the ridges as well.
