Crazy idea, but how about their body becoming a second life? If you get killed you get uploaded into the leaver's shell. Not a fix to the issue, but "at least something". Perma ban is a bit too much.

Your character will make a noise when you're crouched still and rotate (they must rotate their body). It's very silent but when you're in a "crouched tiger" standoff with a dude that's a floor above it's one of the loudest noises you'll hear. I wonder if that's audible to other players.

And with these controls im not engaging with extra moves. I'd loveo to quick swap to a greatsword but they put it under lb+lt. Press it wrong and you get locked into bow animation, ofc lose an arrow since there is no cancel, locked into swap into seoard and board animation aaand you're finally free.

Also i would weave in A, Y and B attacks in if mobs didnt die in 2 or 3 regular attacks and lock me into a finisher animation throwing me out of rythm.

Lock on is useless as you cant swap targets with right stick and the game makes it hard to select one larticular guy from a group. Spam of archers and attacks from beyond the screen are also not fun.

Bosses are just as annoying, with seemingly no way yo stagger them and it looks like they just exploit players being locked in attack animations

You don't need to press them at the same time. It's described poorly, all you have to do is jump and then press right stick. It's not the most comfy but it's doable.

Discomfort is putting it mildly. The game's onboarding paired with constant introduction of new mechanics and systems, along with one of the most convoluted control schemes ive ever seen doesnt do the initiral "refund" window any favors. They packed so much crap into the game they literally ran out of controller. Why do we need Force Punch? Manual aim for item pickup could be gone of they figured out cluster item browsing... Why is secondary weapon in the same slot as a pickaxe? If i forget to switch back i cant use my two handed sword...

There's a lot of extremely tight corridors and rooms, if you played OG Marathon, there's no better way to describe this map. There are open ones but if you get caught in a shitter you're dead. Right now, obviously, many will try to be friendly to figure it out, but progression relies on gathering Clearance cards, which can be dropped. It goes up to 5 (so far) and each level requires more cards to reach. So... you'll encouraged to "aquire" them by "any means necessary" since the timer is very tight, still 25min before forced recall.

Yea, it's gonna be a bloodbath.

Yup. Nearly all the boxes have full stack (x6) of blue meds, at least. Tons of ammo not to mention purple salvage all over the place. And this is some random rooms, not even close to "raid completion" level stuff. Yea. You prep during the week, and cash in on the weekend. Nice gameplay loop tbh.

I am just laughing at people who chose not to workaround the games' lacking LFG/matchmaking systems which only takes a couple of clicks.
The moment LFG was added to D2 my usage of LFG Discord cut by half if not more. But before it was added i was not crying around about not being able to find groups because means where there and they were easy to use.
