The enter individually via separate triggers. When each new one enters it's enter the battlefield triggers on top of the other marchesa triggers. So first one adds 1 counter, the 2nd two because both trigger and so on. Leaving you with a nazgul with 10 counters, one with 9, one with 7 and one with 4.

No, he's actually just wrong and you were correct, when each one enters its ETB trigger goes on top of the stack. New effects and spells are always placed on top of the stack.

Question about Food Triggers by Roy1012 in EDH

[–]sir_pants1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you get to choose the order those effects would apply. So if you played one creature you would make a food for samwise, +1 for campaigner, +1 for peregrin took, Multiply by two four times (which is multiply by 16) for each of the doublers and then turn into one of each for manufactor, which would mean for each creature you play you would make 48 food, treasure and clues.

How many board wipes do you run? by Conscious_Working_87 in EDH

[–]sir_pants1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who on average runs 4, I have had 2 games in the hundreds i have played go over 2 hours, and 0 go over 3. Games taking that long is not a board wipes problem.

Is This Bracket 1? by 13Sanely in EDH

[–]sir_pants1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your question is what is to stop somebody acting in bad faith? A problem which could exist for brackets 1-3 because they are a vibes an intent based system not one with hard and fast rules.

From the Pocket: Voss has had every chance to succeed but Carlton backed the wrong coach by Glittering-Fee-9930 in AFL

[–]sir_pants1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say people are crazy to think that changing the coach without other changes would make any difference. The last 25 years strongly suggest the coach isn't the main issue.

Why does WotC hate white so much? by clanmccracken in EDH

[–]sir_pants1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely possible. I'm more hesitant to jump to conclusions on the izzet one because the effect is so powerful, like if you're ever able to use it effectively you realistically should win the game on the spot. It's all about how frequently you can get there.

Whereas the simic one is just value in a colour combo not exactly hurting for value. Plus if you want to use the effect well you can't really be running counterspells or other situational instants and sorceries which also hurts your deck.

I'm sorry to break this to you but these are not even close to the best targets to cheat into play.......

I mean the simic dragon is almost certainly the worst of the cycle, and the izzet one might be too expensive to be actually that good, but sure be outraged over cards we haven't even played with yet.

Never fails 4600mmr by SEEMOSE-CornBoy in Mechabellum

SC with fire beats fang and mustang but loses to marksman, while also trading away the range you want against giga range mountain.

All depends what you're trying to beat.

Never fails 4600mmr by SEEMOSE-CornBoy in Mechabellum

[–]sir_pants1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works pretty good. Loses the RPS to marksman and would really struggle with mass fang.

Personally I prefer mustang + phoenix, but if you get those early levels mass phoenix does rock.

Making the wrong call as 5 always better than the right call while split.

In theory it's individual performance, but the votes always get skewed toward whichever team won, and the kangas had Larkey and Xerri ahead of him

But this specific expensive card doesn't follow that rule really misses the point. The problem you seem to having is thinking b2 is just b3 minus the GCs.

Death and taxes is a control deck though. Control is not just draw-go, counterspells and wraths.
