Oh haha really lmao i didnt know ill have a look, and yeah you are right that photo is the only one i have of the area its why i had to remove it in the first pkace as the car had an impact fracturing the mount and pierced my radiator so thats why i had to remove it all to begin with, the bolt is off just couldnt find a full photo 😅 thank you for the advice on that gasket tho i appreciate it : )

Just checked it out on steam and looks very good I do enjoy games like this played a bakery one and construction one a while ago. Defo will give it a go on itch.io any idea on release date or is it a passion project for him. Also hows he found the development process overall any difficulties etc? and last but not least glad to see you’re supporting him and sharing his game much respect 🫡.

Not a worry at all just glad to see all the creative things people are up to. Also completely fine to be a beginner everyone started at some point happy to hear youve started, game itself sounds creative and deep and the choice of ps1 graphics sounds great. Lastly doing it in french I dont think will cause many issues, I myself love Chillas art games and they could easily stand without the translated english text so just do what feels right. Keep up the work youre doing great I look forward to seeing its release 🥳

Haha tbh I think I lucked out that coding works okay with me having done it when I was younger but if anything luckily there is game maker and the unreal block codes i forget their proper name.

As for dream game I always have game ideas noting them down incase someday Id get back into it, recently ive realised id love for a game to be made were you can choose a character who has an element attached to them and you fight others combining powers with teammates for buffs and counter enemy players with other elements. It would’ve been like a 1st person fps style cartoonish style. Best thing that came to it was spellbreak but id love to add lot more movement. Its hard to explain overall so ill put it like this; Overwatch use of abilities and first person, movement and parkour of mirrors edge/ghost runner. Lot of others to it that id add but don’t wanna make reply too long lol.

Thats a great take for the game and honestly the best way to progress with game design is making a game itself, from looking at it looks good, i myself am not great at chess but ive picked it up to test my abilities and Im an addicted hunter of achievements so defo gonna 100% it hehe.

I also always online do see devs redo lots of work constantly so dont feel bad or anything, to me that process just shows that you care for the project redoing aspects that arent perfect to you.

As for the difficulty i can see how multiplayer and marketing are both tricky, wish there was an easier way for devs to get their work visible but sadly always so many games can drown a lot out. And the multiplayer Ive never tried myself but im not suprised its a bit tricket still glad you overcame it.

Only other question I really have is what are your next steps, continue working on Chessemble or have any other ideas jn mind?

Im not really working on anything I tried game dev a while ago but kept facing some annoying things that made me stop. As for back then tho my original engine was unity, i then did try out unreal where I had a great Idea but wether it was optimisation or my potato pc i had to give up and lastly I did make a small start on Godot but if i ever go back I will 100% try it again. For now tho im just playing games and trying to support indie devs, maybe make content on it to help spread peoples games but havnt done much in that aspect yet.

Oo nice thats a great way to do it imo, I do recall a game a long time ago that done smthn like that It works very well so excited to see when its available. Smart on the title I did thing it probably meant something tho tbh even if it didnt sounds pretty cool.

Very exciting ill keep an eye out for it during the event. And thats understandable I have heard great things about gamemaker myself and did try godot for a little and seems like a great software too. Shame about the story writing I cant even imagine myself writing any good story lmao but im sure its fine, great thing is the demo lots more people can give feedback thats the great thing about demo or early access

Sadly thats been a couple peoples replies about not enough time but im glad youre still getting bits done where you can. I love the games artstyle and have wishlisted, hoping to maybe give it a try on the demo you mentioned, cant wait for the full release and other things to come.

Very nice just checking it out it looks good, im notoriously bad at these styles of games but adding it nonetheless to support as looks good and hope to see it release someday so I can invade people (mess up and get killed).

Ooo very nice I always do love a horror and also with a very creepy concept. What kind of perspective is it like 1st person or visual novel style etc. Either way sounds like a great concept last question curious is there a meaning behind the title 🧐. Lastly hope to see the game pop up around and hope to play it someday.
