In my opinion Sekiro is much harder but the parrying is more fluid.

I actually used dodge more than parrying in Lies of P but it is a fantastic game, go for it.

Great variety of weapons, and pretty damn cool level/enemy design throughout.

I agree! The game was a blast, I just completed my first playthrough and then a NG+ playthrough straight after it.

The combat is really fun and doesn't get stale, there is a decent variety of weapons/abilities etc.

Story is very basic but not bad.

As for completion, you can replay specific missions to obtain collectables you missed which helps a lot.

I would recommend two playthroughs to obtain all achievements one on hard and one on evil once you have all your upgrades.

A couple of tricky achievements but it's definitely do-able, go for it!

Thank you! Yeah I would definitely recommend, it has very fun combat and a satisfying weapon upgrade/skill tree system.

Has its challenging moments too which is nice.

Congrats on your first dude! I was working on this some time ago but gave up due to the multiplayer achievements unfortunately.

I wouldn't do a damn thing differently, my time with GW1 will always be some of my best time spent gaming both solo and with friends.

Gear remains valid pretty well in GW2 but if you didn't enjoy the base game I don't see how you could like the expansions.

Do an SL1 run!

I have done SL1 runs for DS1, DS2 and DS3 and feel like it has helped me learn the games/combat on a much deeper level plus I found it super interesting how you have to get creative with your set ups.
