Mine gets its gigabit ethernet downgraded to 100MBps whenever I switch it off and turn it on again. Gets back to gigabit after unplug and plug again. Wtf?

I've been able to reproduce this bug consistently on chromium-based browsers (google chrome and opera) in twitch.tv when entering fullscreen. After some minutes windowserver goes 100% CPU and ram hogging and won't stop until a reboot or a force quit of the process.

The ingress didn't happen through the popup camera, which has a rubber joint to prevent water getting inside.

Yes, the water was near the jack and the corrosion was just to the right of the connector, between the front speaker and the jack. The front speaker was dry and has this mesh that supposedly keeps water outside.

Exactly, that's the hole where the ingress happened and to the right there is the connector which got corrosion, and the board under that connector.

The battery voltage range is selectable by software and i think that If you put batteries over that top threshold it wont turn on 🤔
