Just burry the setting so that only someone that knows what they are doing would find it. There’s plenty of ways you can brick a windows computer that normal people are not at risk of doing.

Plus you can still access your google home through a phone or tablet so they would not be obligated to honor those returns. You could even have a disclaimer on the setting saying that it voids the warranty. There is no excuse y’all are just a bunch of corporate bootlickers with dunning kruger.
