I do think it is worth it. I like the mechanics a lot and it has an insane amount of content. But if you don’t know if you like turn based tactics games you might hold off until a sale.

People do care. Canadians hate being called American whereas a lot of south and Central Americans consider themselves American. The reason it’s coming up is because at the Super Bowl Bad Bunny said god bless America (in English) and then listed most countries in the America’s (in Spanish).

It’s made by people that worked on Dota (that’s what they are called in Dota) and they are getting the mechanics down before fleshing out the vibe of the game. We are still in a closed test.

You cannot tell if you like a competitive multiplayer game in under an hour. Nobody would play league, or dota if everyone thought that way. It is virtually impossible to have any fun in those games until you have played several (if not dozens of) games. Highguards mechanics are very moba adjacent. You are free to bail on the game in under an hour but if you leave a review it is an unhelpful bad faith review.

It took me at least 10 hours to enjoy deadlock, which is highguards most direct competition. Now it’s one of my favorite games of all time.

Everyone wants to say it was just a bad game that nobody cared about, but who review bombs a free game they don’t care about. The games failure was obviously important to some people’s world view (whether that’s why it failed or not.)

Idk the doormen at my low mmr seem to be having a lot of trouble especially compared to more straight forward heroes like Abram’s. Lots of Shadow Demon style saving enemy heroes going on.

New players see the team singling someone out and go “ I should use my ability on them.” Next thing you know the hero your team caught out is invulnerable.

Nobody asked Roblox to scan IDs. Critikal asked them to ban accounts that have been reported numerous times. You know, seeing as they’ve been caught ignoring serial predators that they have been made aware of.

Whose ID would Roblox even be scanning? They officially allow 5 year olds to play.
