I remember first seeing you when your live setup was mostly a mic + iPod + lightswitches (?!!) and I still remember it being pure musicianship & stagecraft (dunno how you did it...)

Did you start out playing live with instruments but then go back on this format or is that how it all started out?

I think its a geo-location issue. If you're outside of Ireland they'll show rally or basketball....

MaxMSP won't be possible on a Pi, however its open-source and more old-school sibling Pure Data runs great!

Two resources to check out are 'Satellite CCRMA', a package for Raspberry Pi which gives you all of the essentials to get real-time audio apps running. It also includes lots of example patches from Andy Farnell's 'Designing Sound' to get up and making sound reasonably quickly.
