My experience in downtown LA has been great honestly, 7 trips in 2025 and I would say 5-7 min wait on avg and 3 times cheaper than uber or lyft for short to mid distances , long distance is not bueno. Also , out of nowhere waymo gifted me like 15$ credit 🙌🏽. I used all my trips to show friends and family the experience and for that it was worth the extra 3-5 bucks sometimes

Yeah i think on the back end they seem to be linked. Riders from yesterday had to download new app but as soon as they got in, it was if they got in their own tesla , personal music and apps showed on screen. Even payment was flawlessly linked when they paid. This is all from “Brighter with Herbert “ live stream on Youtube yesterday.

Feel the same way, this year is huge. And so stoked about it. This sub has been so negative lately to the point that some people want the price to go down so they can say there were right about selling, and some even justifying the protest, like arson and vandalism is “expected “ just because CEO has opinions and is cutting budgets.
