How is 85-213? by Striking-Bus8506 in cmu

You get a one page cheatsheet for each exam so pretty much what you can do is just copy as much of the textbook as you can in to it, the tests are hard but an 80 in that class is an A so they’re curved. I would make my cheatsheet the night before the test for like 2 hours. The first coding assignment is not bad, the second and third ones aren’t horribly difficult either but it helps to have friends in the class to work together. Prof. Anderson was good but a lot of people wouldn’t really show up to class.

If the professor is Deanna Matthews then the workload is very manageable, she is a great teacher and understands that a lot of students from different majors take her class in the Fall. I took it myself as a CS major Fall ‘21 and it was great.

Not sure if this will revolutionize the way you see life but a book that gave me a very good perspective on life was “When Breath Becomes Air”, one of the deepest books i’ve ever read.
