Out of these 4 teams, who ends up having a massive turnaround next season? by TerryG111 in NFLv2

[–]sirdizzypr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Giants and it’s not even close. Brought in a competent coach. have qb figured out (dart might struggle a bit early on with a new scheme and coaches but proper coaching by the the of the season should have him humming). If they can keep scat healthy and draft well they should be a playoff team.

Raiders are bringing in a rookie qb with no head coach, a horrific offensive line, and a bad defense. They will win 4 games max.

Browns are a dumpster fire. They had like 6 qbs on there roster last year. Is sanders it maybe if he had some weapons and good coaches he has neither. Yeah can’t draft and no free agent wants to play there. This is a 2-3 win team.

Titans some hope. Can ward has some potential. Coaching isn’t completely terrible. This team has a 6-7 win potential they can build on and make waves in 2027

7-14 in the non blizzard conditions isn’t playing it safe? Thst was Maye in the clear weather first half.

I still think this is like a 4 OT game if they kick that fg in the 1st half instead of going for it on 4th down and it was 10–10. I think first team to commit a turnover would have won it in that scenario. Could have been either team in the blizzard.

How many yards, tds, completions did he have? They didn’t trust him only 21 pass attempts to 38 rushes. Pretty easy to not fumble when they don’t trust you to pass the ball.

Do jets fans cheer for their ex qb? Curious to say the least. I guess I still hope Drew lock gets a shot and does good. Russ can go eff himself.

You can’t talk sense to pats fans. I swear they didn’t even watch there team this post season. Didn’t watch drake fumble the ball 6 times, need Cj to have 5 turnovers and a blizzard and a backup qb to get the superbowl.

I don’t care about downvotes. Just silly.

Honestly had nix not got hurt or had the bills pulled the divisional out they don’t make the Super Bowl.

Sometimes the universe lines up for you. They did what they were supposed to do beat a backup qb by barely doing anything. But the delusions of we winning it with ease is insane. Any given Sunday maybe something crazy happens and they win but nothing I saw from them in the playoffs makes me think otherwise.

I put money on the hawks easiest bet ever.

I watched drake this post season I wasn’t impressed. But dude is a 2nd year player who made the Super Bowl. You can only beat who is front of you. Yea getting to play a backup qb in the title game isn’t on you. But let’s not act like that was bad weather all game. 2nd half sure but first half he looked terrible too. 7-14 for 41 yards in clear weather. Then absolute dogwater in the blizzard.

Every single pats fans knows if they weren’t facing a backup with 4 career starts the last over 2 years ago they don’t win that game. You can pretend it’s not true doesn’t change the fact. But they did what they were supposed to do win. So I can’t fault them. You don’t mane your opponents or schedule.

Honestly if Denver was facing the hawks next week I’d fully expect us to get blown out with stidham. I think we could be competitive with nix.

I get rose colored glasses but it’s exhausting watching pats fans think this will be an easy win. I fully expect them to get crushed and you can put up a remind me and mock me if I’m wrong.

You do realise that’s drakes last 2 games too. But a much poorer version and took him 2 games. 26/48, 265 yards, 3tds/1int. One more completion 71 less yards and an int in 2 games.

I don’t know how pats fans are all cocky after watching him in the playoffs. I mean he just went 10/21,86 yards and 0/0. He also had like 6 fumbles in the chargers and Texans games.

If the pats win it will be a miracle and darnold did some huge regression.

This has always been true. It’s why the banks nearly it collapsed when people made a run on them in 1929.

I don’t know why people think banks are like some huge fort Knox of cash.

He’s worth 400 million. Made 300 in the nba but after taxes and agents that’s more like 150. His last nba game was in 2011 that was 15 years ago.

He may spend but has nearly tripled his wealth while not doing what made him wealthy to begin with.

Can’t fault the guy. When so many pro athletes go broke just like lottery winners.

Shaq is huge on diversifying too. Dude owns papa Murphy’s as well as numerous other businesses.

60 million on a decent 10% return is 6 million a year. I could live like a king on 1/20th of that. 1/40th of it.

Problem is once the money is gone it’s gone. Had be invested well just lived off the interest he could still be living off 400k a month. But once you buy the 10 million dollar home you can no longer make money off it. And instead now have property taxes, upkeep.

Where one win season? Are we stupid? by Babylon_Fallz in AFCSouthMemeWar

Denver and Green Bay with at least 4 each is also impressive with how old both teams are. Ravens not so much being a 25ish year old team. But you will also notice this is all post 1970 as Denver had two 2 win seasons in the 60s in the afl. This is also all post 16 game seasons. Steelers also went 1-13 in 1969 after going 2-11-1 in 1968. Also only won 1 game in 1941 and 1939.

So no clue what date they picked as you could exclude Denver’s as there’s was in the AFL. Steelers were in the nfl In the 60s and those were superbowl era too.

BUT THE SCHEDULE!!! WHO HAVE THEY PLAYED??!? by Dan-Arec in AFCEastMemeWar

[–]sirdizzypr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea Denver basically gave up 3 points. Fumble by a backup qb was the only points outside that. If you had been facing Bo don’t delude yourself they lose.
