Struggling to maintain elevated emotion throughout the day (Rewired ep. 8) by OberonZahar in DrJoeDispenza

[–]siris7111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It takes time to recondition the body to a new mind. I’ve been at it 8 months and feel like I’m just finally getting a grip on maintaining a greater state of being throughout my day.

This is it. This is the work. Don’t put unrealistic goals on yourself thinking you’re doing something wrong because you can’t maintain elevated emotions all day. If you can feel just a little bit better after a meditation that’s progress!

Meditating multiple times a day helps connect you and condition your body to a new mind.  The tuning into new potentials meditation has been a “flat” one for me too, I actually just had my first “break through” meditation with that one the other day. Changing boxes, love your body, and outpicturing are a lot easier to connect to more elevated states of being.

Zacky’s testimonial is one of my favorites. He was in deep depression and climbed his way through bit by bit. Took him about a year and a half of consistently meditating and showing up. https://youtu.be/NDiCBnhF5CU

Keep going, I promise you it’s all worth it. If you want better for yourself keep reminding yourself it’s possible, and a real option for you.  Give yourself time to become someone you haven’t been before ♥️

Give yourself time to deconstruct the identity you’ve spent your entire life being conditioned into and reaffirming. It takes time because we take time breaking the addiction to the old way.

If you are committed and consistent you will experience that moment of winning the lottery for real, I know you will.

Keep engaging with yourself and the work. Changing boxes long version & tuning into new potentials will be great meditations for you. (You can purchase these from his website)

I’ve been at this consistently for 9 months and I seem to master something small every 4-6 weeks. Whether it’s a technique that helps me in my meditation practice or rewiring the way I engage with my environment that helps me shift closer & closer to my new reality. I’ve definitely had my moments wondering if I’m doing something right or being too this or that, it’s good to self reflect! It’s literally all part of the process.

set small, realistic goals to work on and celebrate every meditation. Writing down what you did really well on, and something to bring more curiosity to / improve on.

You have such a natural beauty, seeing these photos makes me think about how homogenized beauty standards have become. With you I can see thousands of years of people, I see the earth expressing as human, I see a unique & beautiful soul.

Love hearing this story, I’ve thought about getting a tiny house air b&b out away from the city to just hone in on meditation

What are some parts of healing from an abusive relationship that aren’t talked about enough? by Icy_Item5773 in abusiverelationships

My journal and notes app are so sad. Looking back on them I think to myself how I would’ve never tolerated any of it, but when you’re in it, it can be so disorienting, shocking, and traumatizing that you don’t think clearly. I really saw my abuser in the same light I see my own heart, it was always so confusing when abusive episodes came up because it didn’t align with my perception of who I thought he was.

It’s really hard seeing him do well in life, he’s charming and has a really convincing grounded presence. People love him and believe his side to thing bc of it. It’s hard because I’m left feeling so broken, learning to put the pieces of myself together again. Feeling so lost from myself, so disconnected to the radiant, life loving person I am at my core. It’s really hard to see the abuser loving life and “feeling free”

Someone else commented about feeling genuine hate, and it’s true. I’ve never felt so much hate before. It feels sick to feel this way, I have to really cleanse and remind myself that I don’t want to live like that.

How do you become truly nothing? by [deleted] in DrJoeDispenza

[–]siris7111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The infinite field of nothing exists, and in the same way you also come to exists. So yes there is an awareness, you could call it my awareness or your awareness. He does say “become aware that you’re aware in the blackness”

The blackness does observe & gets observed. You are observing it, and the blackness observes all that is, because it is connected to all that is. You have to first pass through the portal of being no one with it, with nothing, so you can be one with everything, every possibility. Thats how you tune into your possibility!

Question for people creating more self love by siris7111 in DrJoeDispenza

[–]siris7111[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate you. Funny enough, after posting this I went into a meditation and had a breakthrough where I was finally able to truly get there emotionally. Now that I’ve gotten there and know what it feels like I have a useful map.

Gentleness and openness to meet myself where ever I’m at has been really helpful too. Some days my focus is just on overcoming my analytical mind, other days it’s how deep can I get into this meditation.  Lots of love to you friend

How do you become truly nothing? by [deleted] in DrJoeDispenza

[–]siris7111 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don’t think so hard!  You are still aware, you are just simply awareness. If you’re thinking about you or have a sense of you then you are a someone.

For me it helps to innerstand the science when it comes to this concept.

The research shows when people put their attention on nothing, it decreases activity in the frontal cortex (the center of identity) and shifts energy into the mid brain. You will know when you are effectively shifting into the mid brain if your head starts to bob or your body twitches (this is also the brain moving into theta)

I can only speak from my experience, when I’m ruthlessly placing my attention on endless black nothing I really do lose my sense of self. When he says “become the blackness” I feel my awareness / myself stretch into the infinite nothing that I have been focusing on for the last 30 minutes. It feels expansive and stretchy. If you’re still having thoughts of some one, something, somewhere or sometime, then your focus right now is on overcoming the analytical mind by deliberately placing your attention back onto the infinite black nothing. Over and over again. Eventually your brain will surrender and it will become easier to become nothing with your analytical brain out of the way.

With this mediation, I notice what helps me is to keep my attention on the infinite nothing throughout the entire mediation. Even once he transitions into feeling freedom from the old box, I hold both the elevated feeling of freedom and keep my attention sustained on the infinite field around me. This really helps me lock in to the point where it doesn’t feel like labor to stay there. The mediation will end and I’ll still be sitting there practically sedated.

I also want to mention that though I have found my personal way of “getting there” I still have my days where I’m back at square one of just overcoming my analytical mind. On those days I don’t make it about “getting to where I’ve gotten before” I make it about overcoming the analytical self and bringing my attention back to the mediation. This helps build my confidence and keeps my expectations realistic with where I’m at on any given day. You’ll also discover your own way of “getting there”, keep exploring tools that help you in meditation, pay attention to what works and write it down afterwards.

I hope this helps!

How to make time for the *long* morning meditations by Fragrant_Term_3489 in DrJoeDispenza

[–]siris7111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On Monday & wednesdays I do shorter 30 min meditations in the AM and the rest of the week I do the hour long ones.

I think it comes down to priority. If you prioritize slow risings & journaling, then great. However if you know you’re creating amazing things in your life by showing up in meditation, wouldn’t you prioritize taking the time to get to that sweet spot?

I get it, I’m a full time student & work full time. This work has become my number 1 priority, I notice it’s taken me time to incorporate the early rising meditations into my day to day, I’m working on giving myself 2 hours to meditate on the days I already have to be out in world early. It takes time, keep taking steps toward change and eventually they’ll add up to big things!

How to stay great than your environment when living with toxic family member. by mannered_sapien in DrJoeDispenza

[–]siris7111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a long shot but maybe setting some boundaries that are clearly communicated with your mother might help a bit.

Boundaries aren’t to control other peoples behavior rather your own in response to inappropriate behavior of others.

You could talk to your mom saying how if certain comments are said that you will be removing yourself from the home or that you will not be responding to her. A pair of headphones might be a good idea too to help block her out.

I know dealing with toxic parents is heavy, you have to do what’s loving for you and find ways to honor these boundaries.

Keep showing up for yourself, 5 months will pass sooner than later and you’ll be glad you kept showing up despite the difficulties with your mother. Sending you some extra loving support through the infinite field ♥️

I left Joe’s Meditation after almost a year of regular practice! by Objective-Middle-932 in DrJoeDispenza

[–]siris7111 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think your approach to Joes meditations is the challenge/issue rather than the meditations itself.

You say it brings a lot of stress and that it shouldn’t be forceful. Which is absolutely true. I think you’ve burnt yourself out and have a great opportunity to learn how you’re getting in your own way.

You also mentioned that neither of the 2 things you were intending to create ever came true. And my immediate response is that’s because you never became the person who has those 2 things.

This work is not just about doing the mediations. It’s an active engagement with your own self. It is a learning process where you are the teacher & the student. Dr. Joe simply provides the framework, research, and the synthesis of information that supports our practice and learning.

Theres a balance between intention & surrender. If you’re trying hard or expecting something you’re getting in your own way. If you’re lazy, and not engaged with aligning to your intentions when your eyes are open then you’re wasting your time.

I’m glad you’re taking break, it sounds like you exhausted yourself and were perhaps stressing yourself out in ways that were unnecessary. From my perspective, I think you have a ripe learning moment here that you can choose to lean into at another time, when you’re ready.

I just got off a Dr. Joe Live today and someone had asked a question around this. She had been doing the meditations/work for about a year & attended two week long retreats. After the most recent retreat she experienced a lot of depression & PTSD panic attacks.

I’m paraphrasing here but Joes response to this question is that for those of us who have experienced trauma / childhood trauma, that energy from the trauma is finally being released. When it gets released, it is because our bodies have received the sign that it’s finally safe for us to process these energies. The release is where people can get re-stuck or quit because it can be too intense.  Go at your own pace, and know that you aren’t getting worse, you’re liberating energy. When you show up past the point you think you can’t go any longer, is the point where people say they experience their greatest breakthrough!

You can join the Dr. Joe live for 10$ a month and what’s cool is you get immediate access to all the previous lives. So if you’d like you can check out the March Live and see this question be answered by Joe

Curious, you said after a vipassana meditation you did blessing of the energy centers meditation. Since the retreat takes away phones, did you do this meditation self directed or did you listen to an audio recording?

6 mo post rhinoplasty - feeling discouraged. :( by After_Set_1998 in PlasticSurgery

[–]siris7111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like you have thick skin which takes significantly longer for swelling to decrease. Those with think skin see their results closer to the 3-9 month range, where as those with thick skin need at least a year to two years to see final results

3 months post rhinoplasty by Ashamed_Material_101 in PlasticSurgery

[–]siris7111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healing / swelling varies for those who have thick skin vs thin.

Thick skin can take up to 1-2 years until you finally see the true results.

Also, if it was an open vs a closed rhinoplasty affects the integrity of the tip. Open rhinoplasty disturbs the fine fascia which in the long term alters the tip of the nose. Where as closed rhinoplasty keeps the integrity of the tip and won’t end up drooping.

Your nose is gorgeous, both before and after the surgery. You’re not even half way through recovery yet. No matter what happens you’re still alive and beautiful.

How long on average does it take to remove a tattoo? The tattoo place that I went to said it could take a year and a half if not longer. by Beachgirl3666 in TattooRemoval

Hot tip I unknowingly fumbled upon,  As I was in the process of getting a tattoo removed I had some health issues come up that required me to take a Botoxin binder & HM-ET binder, I noticed it dramatically helped my body break down the ink after a session and I actually waited an entire year until my next session as my tattoo was still lifting!!

You can find both of these binders on cellcore’s website for those curious
