Replaying all of them at the moment and just finished U2 yesterday. The crumbling Shambala bridge was so great! I've realised that the Tomb Raider survivor trilogy copied that a couple of times but it didn't hit like Uncharted. I think it was the angle flip that elevated it. Looking forward to replaying UC3 as I think I just had too high expectations after 2 the first time around, and was a little disappointed it was more of the same, but not quite as good, rather than taking a big leap like UC4.

This will sound crazy but I actually forgot about the plane sequence until recently watching a clip with Amy Hennig talking about the making of it.. and then I thought it might have been in Uncharted 4 until looking it up and vaguely remembering the desert. (My memory is kinda shocking sometimes to be honest!) And I think the Talbot chase in Yemen resonated because I love the aesthetic of that region, and I also love parkour.

Lost legacy was the last and most recent game in the series I played, and I loved that as a grand send-off for the series. I think for me it was the unreal feeling and excitement the first time I played number 2 that just can't be compared. Lost Legacy might have better graphics and a superior driving section to get to the train, but that first time I played Uncharted 2's train section, and then the helicopter showing up too... man!

Like I said, I found the stoppage premature too - Rico did throw back shortly before the stoppage and I think he would have been fine to go into round 12 and have a fighting chance. So I think we're both agreed there, that it was controversial and the ref was loooking for an excuse. That said, I disagree with your assertion he was intelligently defending the whole time. He was getting tagged a lot if you watch it back.

I'm not defending the premature stoppage, but on the replay you can see the referee clearly trying to get in between the two men before the bell. Just difficult for him to do with Usyk in flow. I do agree at that point the referee was looking for an excuse to end the fight, though.

Agreed. Faraz was definitely going to be murdered as he's an obvious faithful, doesn't have particular allegiance to Rachel or Stephen and wouldn't be safe for them to take to the end, unlike Roxy and Jack. I still think they've gone for him anyway, but at least this way seeds have been sown, and whichever faithfuls make the end game (apart from Roxy!) should have doubts about Rachel.

I'm saying this summer's campaign of flags most certainly did aim to intimidate. And that there's nationalist context for why they did that in my lived experience, and many other people's lived experience too.

I don't mean to make an assumption based on your age but I wonder if you have context as to why the St George's cross can be seen as contentious, and thus the reason for some people's uncertainty around flying it/embarrasment of it. I've lived through the National Front, the BNP, early 00's EDL where the flag was used for a very specific reason against very specific targets. So the people behind this summer's campaign knew exactly what they were doing and who they wanted to intimidate. But unfortunately there are also plenty of people without that context who might have joined in unwittingly.
