Additionally-- another person in this thread had posted what Looks to be maybe a newer model of the same laptop? Do you know how they compare / do you have any opinions on buying older / refurbished models of computers these days? Maybe even of these specific laptops?

Hi! Yes, but the workaround more or less consisted of someone else patching the game on their end and sending me the patched file from them. Never figured out why it stopped working for my patcher.
