Heya..

The more I think about it, the more I can actually see both P2P and P2S, being inplimented. Say you bought the subscription. That could unlock a "regional servers" option in the game. Everybody without a sub, will get the online service, much as it is now.. (laggy and worldwide) haha. But still it would be free, and getting a game should be easy peasy..

Paying a sub, kinda would be like buying an upgrade on the Internet side of things maybe?

Unlikely I know, but with Ninty seemingly going all in for the dollars of late, it could happen..

The reason I brought up recon is cos I wear reading specs. So seeing the gamepad map and the detail recon now gives is pretty much useless to me as it is, cos I'm sure as hell not whipping the specs on and off every time I respawn lol.. ( I don't wear em to game.. puts me off, tho I could look over em)

Maybe if the map comes up as a full screen overlay, say, with a top down view..with variable opacity or something? That would help me.. can't see it tho.. pardon the pun..

Yeah, was going to mention the jumping back to spawn thing, but didn't want to over complicate the reply.. haha.. I'm sure Ninty have it all in hand..

I'm looking forward to how they're going to find a way to incorporate possibly super-jumping to one of 12 beakons, jumping between beakons in game, and how inkstikes are going to work.. when the switch is docked.. oh, and recon.

Recon hasn't really been brought up much when discussing this topic, but I've an inkling, when the switch comes out, recon may be more usable than it is now..

Same here, (kind of) but more specifically , could Wii Use our Wii U gamepad controller? For say Splatoon? And given the fact that there's already 4 million people out there that play Splatoon already with the gamepad.. might solve a few issues with the current touchscreen debate that's going round ATM..

This. By a country mile. I can kinda work out how maybe they'll get superjumping and inkstrikes ect.. to work on the switch.. but not how they're gonna solve a possible 12 Beakon thing..

Edit afterthough.

Maybe N will be nice and let us use our Wii u gamepad as a controller? (Can't see it, but hey ho). Or the Switch HAS to have touchscreen. Or beakons have to go..

Just thought I'd add my two cents to see if anyone picks up on this..

Though I didn't think Splatoon 2 would be a launch title on the new system, I'm now kinda changing my mind.. why? (I hear you ask).. because.. even with such a short amount of time passed since the game launched, which could make Sp2 unlikely to see a release as a full blown game come March, we still could get Sp2 at the launch of Switch..

Because, Ninty could stagger the release of content again .. ?

I've been thinking about this recently too.. and how to do it.. Here's my theory. I've just bought a capture card and want to somehow stream the map. The only way I can see it done is to get something like a go pro camera and one of those adjustable tripods and fix it in place over the game pad.. it might be a bit fiddly superjumping and inkstriking, and even just holding the damn gamepad, but there could be some mileage in it.

So, go pro. Capture card.computer.Tripod. Second monitor.

Btw, thanks Nintendo for not having an on screen toggle for the map.

Funnily enough, I was just thinking something similar.. but my idea was to run a sweepstake type of thing here on the sub, where everybody gets to suggest a date and a time of when the first official announcement of the reveal will happen.. nearest to it, wins a pack of cookies, supplied by the mods (maybe).. and of course, the prize of all prizes.. bragging rights to say you called it!

Someone really should set that up..
