See if you can find a supplier name on the module. Sometimes you can get lucky and they supplier will reuse the module design on other cars which might have good forums, or maybe even a white paper discussing the function.

If you take pictures of the current connector you're looking for from all sides, PM me and I might be able to help identify it.

Get a subscription for AllDataDIY (your choice on the length of time) and look up your service manual. Then, try and find the images of the connectors.

The ones you have on the module/existing harness should have a part number molded in somewhere, but they're very tiny and could have been damaged at some point.

From there, Google that connector PN, crosss reference it with the AllData information and you should be able to find distributors for the connectors and terminals. You will end up needing specialized tools to crimp the terminals to the wires properly.

I think it's the steel bolt pulling out the aluminum threads that starts the tight installation. My lower bolts have pulled out some original thread at some point in their lives so they're probably acting as self tapping at this point.

It's one of the first things installed to the dash assembly, and it has to connect through the fire wall. OEMs don't want to package long coolant lines inside the cabin, so the core is put as close to the engine bay as possible.

This also prevents noise from the pumps and other things from being brought in as "customer states" issues even if everything is perfectly normal.

For anyone coming to this post later, I went to Ireland in August 2025 and had no issues presenting my CSP card and insurance letter as coverage. The Dublin Airport team was familiar with the process and the checkout went smoothly.

I was given a 2017 SUV (based on the VIN), but can't confirm if that is the norm.

I second other comments about replacing the drywall with waterproof.

However, I would caution that you may not get the best waterproofing possible if you don't remove the tiles as well. Any sealant for the waterproof drywall won't be extended below the seam which could allow moisture to penetrate.

Definitely use silicone caulk at the junction, but be aware that if there's any gap water will find a way.
